I don’t get what your saying ‘isn’t making it easy for them’
I mean your lad cancels last minute for his jab (not blaming him ‘cos I’d do the same for a night on the piss for sure), unable to get a walk in close to home….so gets an appointment for Wednesday.

Where’s that making it hard for them ? Seems pretty good to me if I’m honest.
You’re probably right. I was under the impression that there were lots of easily accessible walk in with no appointment centres around, especially in towns, to lure in the passing trade. And it seems there aren’t. At least around here. No complaint about the boy, it’s the how to catch those who mostly can’t be arsed mob. Not that I care about them, but them being jabbed helps the rest of us.

I wasn’t having a go mate, honest. From what you say it might be pretty hit and miss with the walk in stuff with regard to areas covered. On our local Facebook page they are often advertising walk ins, and they seem pretty busy when running. I assumed most areas had the same sort of facilities.
I think as a country the vaccine roll out has been really good……however I’d like to hope that we, as a country, will now be doing our utmost to help out other countries less fortunate than us. Until that happens the world as a whole is still ****ed.

Christmas must bankrupt you.

Two is enough.
My other daughter has just got a puppy. They are cheap dates on the present front. I always have a stick available ..she loves fetching it and chewing

Three day lockdown from midnight
To start
Shops being raped and pillaged as we speak
Having dinner at the pub
Shops will be open tomorrow

Got a text yesterday telling me that things were being set up for a booster and flu jab, even giving the venue where it will happen, and that I will be contacted with a date soon.

While this is welcome I hope we are fulfilling our promises to export covid vaccine, as this will go on forever unless it’s brought under control everywhere.
