Apparently he is the first serving PM to be taken into an ICU. I vaguely remember as a kid when Macmillan resigned due to ill health but nothing like this...

Just listened to 2 different opinions (doctors) who both said the same thing.
You don't go to hospital if you are a sick PM for precaution mixing with sick people unless you need to.
You don't go into an ICU bed for precaution... whoever you are.
People that go into ICU do so because their bodies can't cope.
Both doctors said there was a good chance he would be on some sort of breathing machine.

I was only listening to the briefing today on my IPAD. The one thing I noticed was the stuttering of Raab. I thought it was just him being nervous, however, he is not the type. Tonight I saw a clip from earlier on my big TV and could see his face. He was actually nervous/in shock. watch his eyes.
Anyway, what I am saying is that No10 has tried to cover this up.

Yep.
She wasn't doing any harm just sitting there, but she was a pompous cretin.
She knows what the advice is.
I thought that she was just trying to be smart... What would have happened if she got attacked when the sun went down? Who would she have called for?

Just saw Raab on follow up and he does look in shock and like a rabbit in the headlights right now. Not sir anyone might not feel like that with the sudden serious changes to be fair to him. Hopefully he will be more assured as he comes to terms with his new responsibilities.

I doubt Harry Dunn’s parents have much confidence in him.

What a pretentious prat this woman is. Wasting police time to sound smart. People on FB are blaming the 2 policemen.

Jesus that woman was unbearably smug. I thought the copper had the patience of a saint. I could never be a police officer that's for sure.

I am absolutely no fan of Boris' in fact I can't stand him in normal circumstances and I don't believe he deserves praise for his handling of this pandemic. But I certainly wouldn't wish this on him and I'll hope he makes a successful and speedy recovery. Maybe this will make people wise-up.

It does serve that purpose for those who need it. Wake up and face the gravity of the situation.

I dont know what to think about this. Is it any different to someone going to work and keeping their distance? She is not socialising, she is following the guidelines but I also appreciate the fuzz are trying to enforce very vague, grey area rules. How can there be a lockdown yet I've seen construction sites swarmed with tradesmen. New windows being fitted at a house on our street. 2 plumbers over the road at the pub. The guidelines are ****ing bizarre at best. I'm sure there were more worthy candidates of not following the rules than this woman.

My main gripe when out walking is that it always seems to be us who take a wide course around people or stop and wait for others to pass.
Always us!!
Never a thank you either.
Does my nut in.
The regular walk we take takes us down a narrow path and through a couple of bore holes before opening out into the countryside.
Even when we've reached the wider areas, it's always us who move off the quite wide paths and move along the edges of the fields.
Today, Mrs Rangercol had to grip my hand very tightly as each twat made us move.
Rant over.

As I think I have said I live in a very small village in Cornwall, on Sunday when my husband was on his only outing of the day to walk the dog, (we do morning and evening take it it turns). He met a family of four up the lane. He challenged them asked what they were doing. They replied on holiday! Now in case I not mentioned it he is Glaswegian so you can imagine from here the interaction that took place! People are just not being responsible at this time, God help, the next visitors that meet my old man in our village!
