Time to leave politics aside.
We need leadership and Boris was giving that.
For those of faith, we pray. For those of no faith, hope.

Exactly all I keep seeing on FB (not here) are people that start the sentence with "I don't like Boris but"... Why do they even need to say that? Just wish the bloke well FFS!

I wish Boris a speedy recovery. Dont like the bloke very much but it's sad that he's in this position. I wish everyone who is, all the best. I hope he realises what a tit he was when cheering with his colleagues at the pay cap for nurses. These same people who are risking their lives to keep him, you, me and all our loved ones alive.

A disturbing bit of news that I was unaware of is that apparently Boris once had pneumonia and has a history of bronchial problems.
Did anyone else know this?

It came from my mate who was listening. He would never say this unless they mentioned it.

Just knicked this from The Express.
There have also been some suggestions Mr Johnson could have pneumonia, however, there has been no official confirmation of this.
Former chair of the BMA GP committee, Dr Laurence Buckman said earlier today Mr Johnson could have pneumonia.
Asked whether the Prime Minister's admission to hospital was because of the pneumonia, which can be triggered by coronavirus, Dr Buckman replied: “That’s the obvious thing to go looking for

No time for Johnson as a politician, or as a person really, but I wish him a speedy and full recovery all the same, because I would wish the same to anyone. He doesn't deserve any extra sympathy because he's PM.

Thanks mate......Yeah I feeling a bit down about it all at the moment. Big changes about who we work with (LFB, ERs) which is great in theory but in practice I personally can see it leading to a lot more pressure on the likes of me and the fear of burn out (for me anyway).
Adding to the fact I could earn more at Tesco’s delivering veg it’s very tempting sometimes......Saying that it’s first few hours on my first night shift back so I’m always feeling a bit down.
Hopefully my mood will lighten in the coming hours
You will feel better after some cake

Not good when you hear the words "The queen is being kept informed about his condition" :emoticon-0101-sadsm
