The players have to show leadership
That tw@t Gordon Taylor is simply trying to delay his members taking a pay cut
All clubs keep going on about great community engagement but the players have to step up in a time of crisis
Warburton has done his bit <applause> so why is the PFA dragging its heels?

Reading between the lines I think Hall, who seems to be the players leader, has implied our players are "happy" to take a pay cut.
But they are currently being stopped by some decision or power by the PFA.
It may change today

The union leader - GT - should be driven by his membership, not the other way round
It really isn't difficult
GT should take a cut too - his "earnings" of over £2.5m are outrageous regardless of the current situation

Dont forget to clap for the nhs tonight at 8PM. Clapping is their new PPE

I’m all for the clapping. It’s a nice thing to do which seems to make a lot of people happy and hurts no one. I just don’t want to see gormless Tory plebs on tv doing it while their decisions put nurses and doctors into a gun fight with a spoon.

This is a top video and explains exactly what happens without all the technical crap. First 2-3 mins he bangs on about his qualiications and the last 10 mins he goes into unprepared rant... however the rest is spot on and well worth 15 mins of your time.

Why don't more of the players actually come out and say I'm taking a cut instead of massaging Taylor's oversized ego? The majority of Premier League players are on £40-50k+ a WEEK, think about it. And the miserly c*nt Levy expects the taxpayer to bail one of the richest clubs in the world out. His only concern is balance sheet, totally morally bankrupt...

Bojo has said that testing is the key to unlocking the puzzle. We may see testing start in around 2022.
mmm I don't remember him saying that 2 weeks ago... I might be being disingenuous to Boris but I seem to remember him saying about social distancing and non essential work.
I also think something has broken down with the government and advisers and timelines.

Oh in that case maybe Raab could take over. :1980_boogie_down:

A tragic possibility. When you kick out anyone who isn’t a yes man or careerist to follow an ideology you know is economically ruinous you aren’t left with much to choose from. Gove would probably win.
