I said 'put up a Berbatov is better than Rooney thread and see what response you get', you've gone somewhat narrower with your poll.
You asked me to ask the Man Utd fans who is better Rooney or Berbatov. I have done and the majority say Berbatov..
I did say that I thought Rooney was the better player before hand but last season Berbatov was better. You guys are so silly
You asked 'who was the better striker in the 2010-2011 season' which is not what I said at all and despite that the vote is currently 50/50 and you have only two comments, one saying Berbatov scored the most goals but Rooney was often not playing as a striker(he's a Bolton fan) and the other has said Rooney was better.
'Fraid not! I've got better things to do than read your (=Foxes) twaddle about Rooney/Berbatov on a thread started by a Mackem. Just eff off.
This is another strange debate, on the Rooner thing I'd say he suffers a massive amoutn of criticism from the tabloid press due to his high profile. He is the only footballer who can score a 30 minute hat trick and still people are more interested in the manner he celebrates, as long it's a way they can criticise him. Those periods AKCJ speaks of where he couldn't hit a barn door, are probably more media fabricated than anything else. He had a very good season, but English people and our stupid attitude towards modern sportsmen are determined to put our own national heroes down.
None of the mentioned Matt Mills, Paul Knocheskey, John Pantsil, Kasper Schmeichel, David Nugent or Neil Danns are sicknotes really. They're just average, over paid championship players. With the exception of Matt Mills of course.
