Connor Wickham

Other than going to a top club at the age of 20, for £5m, I doubt anyone had even heard of him.

As for Steve Walsh, he's generally considered to be the best scout outside the Premier League and while head scout at Chelsea, he was responsible for bringing in Tore Andre Flo, Gianfranco Zola, Didier Drogba and Michael Essien. No offence like, but I think his opinion carries a little more weight than that of some thick **** from Leicester. <ok>

Winston Bogarde too?

I've never said that Rosenior was better than Naughton, I said Rosenior is currently the best right back in the league, Naughton is no longer in this league, so doesn't count. Do try and keep up.

Tell me where I was talking about this season?

Do keep up.

Did Walshy bring Bogarde to Chelsea?

To be fair when he arrived in England he was a well established international with one of the best teams in Europe. He did turn out to useless mind.

At the end of the day SW pulls quality players out of a hat for next to **** all. The bloke is a magician when it comes to wheeling and dealing, a fact proper Leicester fans know too well.

Sven would give his right bollock to have Walshy on board .

I have no doubt that Naughton will have done better in all those areas than Rosenoir which is why he was last seasons full back of the year despite missing the first two months of the season <ok>

How many did he do then compared to Rosie?

He was picked off the back of scoring 21 goals in 32 games for Auxerre that season, he just couldn't recreate that form at the World Cup and Henry was on the wing.

Henry started playing for Arsenal on the wing and was pretty ineffective. It was only when he became a striker that he shone.

Hopefully once the season starts some of these clowns who have an obsession with our board may have something to keep them occupied, though i shan't hold my breathe. For the record, i enjoy having people from other clubs coming onto our board, it's just when said people come on here more than they probably should with the sole purpose of causing mischief.

I doubt that very much.

Steve Walsh brought us Yann Kermorgant, 'nuff said.

At least you can be ironic. <ok>

<laugh>

You guys...

I can't even have a debate with you all because you just panic and start throwing insults.

If I come here with an opinion then you all just think i'm here to annoy you <laugh>

I'm not saying this 'Rosie' bloke isn't good, i'm just saying that last season Naughton was better because he got the award. They don't just give it to random people.

Can I just ask why you are all going on about Wickham and Sunderland?

Side note to the Black Cat fan.

Wickham was one of the best strikers I had seen all year at the Walkers, he is a proper class act and will be a star in the future.

Naughton was the NPC player of the season in the right back slot and Wickham had him in his back pocket all game.

you have yourslef a very handy player <ok>

Naughton was the second best right back behind Rosenior....thanks
