Naughton is in the Premier League and McNaughton is a left back, therefore Liam Rosenior is currently the best right back in the Championship.
McNaughton is a right back who started playing left back for cover as Cardiff didn't have one towards thee end of last season I'm not going to say who is currently the best right back in the division until I have at least seen Pantsil play in it
He might as well have missed the season for all I knew, it's only you guys that tell me he's good. Even his daddy didn't big him up on the FLS.
City's head of recruitment Steve Walsh labelled Rosenior as last year's best right-back in the Championship. Do you know who Steve Walsh is?
I didn't think he did to be fair, he always makes a point of not being biased towards Hull and in fact I think he deliberately doesn't say too much about Liam or City because people will immediately have a go. Plus he works for the BBC so is contractually obliged to ignore Hull City.
You don't get it do you? They don't just pick someone at random to be the NPC playe of the season, they choose through performances and stats and Naughton came out on top. So your saying that someone who works for you thinks your player is the best in the division? I'm sure your mother always told you you were 'special' too, get what I mean?
That's an assumption easily made when you're defending a player in the XI. Last season, for some reason all of the attention was on QPR, Leeds and yourselves so anything done by a player in those teams was instantly hyperbolised, whereas the achievements of our players went criminally unnoticed. I bet you've hardly heard of Cameron Stewart, James Chester, Jay Simpson, Corry Evans, Dani Ayala and others that played for us last season and were every bit as good as these 'top' players who are praised because they play for a media favourite club.
Don't give me that ****. The media have nothing to do with it and Kyle Naughton was hardly a big name player was he?
No he wasn't. He was always under the shadow of Kyle Walker at Tottenham which resulted in virtually no playing time at Spurs or England. It was only until he played for us that people started giving him attention. If anything Rosenoir was a bigger name player because he played for Fulham in the Prem and actually got game time.
****ing Messi could play for City and the BBC wouldn't give a ****, it'd be pushed off the headlines by Leeds' steady rise to the PL where they belong. Or some bollocks like that.
Other than going to a top club at the age of 20, for £5m, I doubt anyone had even heard of him. As for Steve Walsh, he's generally considered to be the best scout outside the Premier League and while head scout at Chelsea, he was responsible for bringing in Tore Andre Flo, Gianfranco Zola, Didier Drogba and Michael Essien. No offence like, but I think his opinion carries a little more weight than that of some thick **** from Leicester.
Damn right, but that's the view of the media, they have an obsession with the white ****e, among other sides. Hull is certainly not one of them.
But I don't think it can carry more weight than the people that actually choose who is in the NPC team of the year. Its not like i'm the one who picked the team am I? Stop being a dickhead, i'm merely stating that Naughton was a NPC player of the year (for two seasons running I think) and he was outplayed by a 18 year old and its turned into a war from you kids about him not being as good as Rosenoir. Stop being a twat and grow up, jesus christ.
I've never said that Rosenior was better than Naughton, I said Rosenior is currently the best right back in the league, Naughton is no longer in this league, so doesn't count. Do try and keep up.
