The lads doing good in a ultra competitive midfield...and we've still got Livers and Snodgrass to come back! 3-5-2 for the Dramas tomorrow, 2-0 Clucas, Hernandez
He'll be doing well to keep his place even if he runs 15kms with Maloney and Jake fully fit, not to mention Mo who's just back. From being the weak part of the team 4-6 weeks back, its looking like the best midfield in the league by a country mile, not to mention Snodgrass who hopefully will make it back over the coming months
Commendable work rate, especially when you consider it'll be effectively stop start running. A question though, is it necessarily a good sign for the team if one player is having to chase about so much?
Pointless putting that up. I'm not impressed by a stat saying he ran around a lot. He was poor for the most of the Brighton match last week.
He looks decent too me, a lot of promise, we need him about as he's a midfielder with an eye for goal like Diame
Almost certainly not, 13.5km is unusually high, it either implies he was out of position a lot or was having to cover for the rest of his midfield, either way its not a great stat.
Agreed John. Shame a few are unable to see that. Then again it is hard from your armchair. Sam Clucas is doing ok overall and will only get better. He was very very good @ Cardiff just like most of them.
That is incredibly high. I believe Jake was averaging about 8k last season and he was in the top-5 in the Prem. But the lad certainly puts in a shift and has improved enormously since the start of the season when I wasnt impressed.
Nah, 10-12 is pretty normal for a midfielder. Wasn't Jake averaging a shade under 12? And Thudd close to 11?
Some glass half empty views on this thread already, quel surprise, if he did cover 13.5k that's certainly a good thing, especially in this league.
Who gives a **** how many kilometres he's run. How many miles did he do. FACT I hope Clucas is setling in and he's find the right position cos I've been underwhelmed so far. That includes playing against us for Chesterfield.
