There is a theme that always developes when your involved in a thread with mags and I can't take that as a coincidence. You go on about the younger generation as if it is some curse and they should be ridiculed for it. If that's the case, be the bigger man, what was it last night, that's right, I'm "gay"..... Mate when I was working away there was no late night TV, no mobile phones and definitely no internet.

So he is covering all aspects both mechanical and electronic.

I started the unwashed thread as a deliberate attempt to drag them away from other Mackem's threads.
Whilst our little Emo skunks were in there, they weren't trolling every other thread.

That's the thing like, you have to travel these days like to earn decent money. I was away for 4 month at a time on massive container ships. Had to change when my son came along though. Was missing too much of him growing up, luckily the company I work for has an off shore section which allowed me to do the same job but only away 5 weeks at a time now and home for 5 weeks. Slightly better money over this side also. The big thing for me is the tax break though. If your lad can get abroad working and has no ties then I would definitely advice him to try it like.

Know a load of lads (mostly smoggies twats) who are weld inspectors. They travel all over the place, and are all on bloody good money...

Sounds a good prospect, once your in the door.

So... MR believes Gary Speed falls into catagory 1) and I guess most of the Newcastle posters would place him into catagory 2) [?] - but this doesn't mean either view is true a it also means both views are equally valid/invalid.

This is an internet forum about football and he was a footballer we're all free to express our opinions; this will be a very sensitive 'no go' area for some but not for others - there is no single line over which people cross... or if there is it seems very wiggly and elastic at times.

The accusations of illegal behavior are a different matter though and we've recently seen people posting on Twitter getting huge fines for publishing liable through a public medium. The person who claims manager 'x' is a *****phile actually in a follow up post claimed they had proof. That person is sailing very, very close to the wind and if anyone really has passed it across to Northumbria police, as they intimated, they will be obliged to investigate it.

Being a plasterer/ builder the options with big money were few and far between abroad.

Before I was married I used to do a couple of months down the smoke, earning in a day what I was being paid for a week up here.
But I missed my mates and SAFC too much.
I was offered the chance to go to Australia and run a guys building company, it's now a multi-million pound company.
Am I sad I missed the opportunity?
Nope, at that time my love of SAFC over rode everything.
Plus I wouldn't have my 3 wonderful children.
After marriage I didn't even consider working away, though I would have if needs must, as my family comes before even SAFC.
Until I did my back I was making a damn fine living, without having to rip people off too.
