Are these 'extinction rebellion' protests strictly necessary? They are now at the stage of causing serious disruption to every day working people and having just viewed their latest attempt to cause disruption on London's underground system,I have to say, they are now beginning to cause serious disruption to Met Police as well!!

I'm fine with people having an opinion but when it starts to impinge on honest working people's ability to earn a wage and survive I have no sympathy or support. The more they use up police time and cause panic and fear in public places, the more chance there is of possible terrorist activity and the grave consequences that could bring!!!

Extinction Rebellion my backside!!! It seems to me that it's a veiled excuse for Anarchy...

These are people trying to use public transport not driving cars so not really the ones to blame.

Because they are not singing from the same hymn sheet. No good was going to come from a tube protest. I can see more incidents like this.

You can't condone the kicking they got afterwards but what a bunch of middle class tossers. Surely an electric metro system must be one of the most environmentally friendly ways of getting thousands, no hundred of thousands of people to and from work. The general population will tolerate this kind of protest with a stoical shrug of the shoulders but what the commuters action showed is they won't when it starts to impact on their lives, income and well being.
