    We need to wake up to how quickly this is happening. The top picture is the honest to God view from my hotel room on Monday and the bottom one is my view to day. Frightening!


    Ok to be fair it not the SAME room but still.....

    I thought this was quite uplifting. Yes, I know it's a tiny place in northern Finland, I know it's not overcrowded, etc but you can't fault the commitment and the way the kids seem to have latched onto it.

    2 people, an ex-soldier and a nurse went to the Cenotaph and placed their own wreath, demanding climate change action, on top of the official ones.

    Very poor judgement on their part.

    That's the worst bit, stupid people do stupid things. The police should be smarter than that.

    Edit. although the people placing the wreath did sort of look official ish, no excuse for leaving it up there for 2 hours.
