The madness of it all, What happens to people who are then contacted? If you are approached because one of your contacts has tested positive, you must stay at home for 14 days from your last point of contact with them. You must self-isolate, even if you don't have symptoms. Others in your household won't have to self-isolate unless they also develop symptoms, but must take extra care around you regarding social distancing and hand washing.
Well he was a twat when he was at Liverpool. It cannot be underestimated what a monumental bellend Rick Parry is.
If there's one man on the whole of the internet who I would back in an online ruck with teachers it would be Barch
Peter Moores yes, later became At Cost. Dugglebys was on Princes Avenue. Also lost to Newland Avenue are Hull Tools and across the road from there, Fostors DIY. There was also another big hardware shop on the same block, where Planet Coffee is today. John Turnbull had a newsagents on there too, next door to Piper, which i remember as Monica Picture House with Monica Fisheries close by and the only recently closed Monica Snooker Hall just around the corner.
When ever I here about At Cost, it reminds of a news article about them getting burgled, and the thieves had stolen the guard dog.
Carlines was up near Grafton Street. The off licence on the corner of Sharp Street. Tony Carlisles hairdressers. Carvers electrical shop. All gone.
Rosies Nana lives on Sharp St and yes it's true that he went to see her regularly. Steve Bruce once gave him a lift there, I had my 'NO TO HULL TIGERS' badge on and they both let on with a big smile
When we moved to Hull on 1 January 1962, there were eight, yes EIGHT, chip shops on Newland Ave. There were more on the side streets, like Reynoldson and Exmouth Streets. I have been trying to remember the name of the shop next the Monica. It was where I got my Corgi James Bond car. I've still got it. On the same side of the road there was an electrician's shop called Thompson's. His wife taught us at Sidmouth Street. On the other side was a plumber's, I think, called Middleton's. The daughter was in my class, as was the daughter of Fosters. Another daughter in my class was Beattie. They owned the sweet shop between Sharp Street and Edgecumbe Street. Sorry, rambling now! Lost in the past.
Hull City have received confirmation from the EFL that next Tuesday’s EFL Trophy tie against Grimsby Town has been postponed. In line with EFL medical guidelines, the Mariners’ first-team squad are undergoing a period of self-isolation after a player tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday. A new date will be confirmed in due course.
So why aren’t West Ham’s? no it’s a Japanese take away now! It’s minging, my lad lives near it and he says there’s summat dodgy about it They looked surprised when him and his mate ordered food!!!
Well, haddock, chips and scraps with curry sauce on the side probably doesn't feature too much on Jap menus.
Clubs who test all their players three times a week don't have to self-isolate as all the other players have had negative tests, when a club hasn't tested anyone but the one who's tested positive, then it's assumed that all the other players might have it.
