Whether you can see it or not the question is whether they had been in close contact with enough of the other players over the few days before. If they had then all of those they had been in close contact with should have isolated according to the Govt rules. If that left enough from their squad to play then no need to cancel.
Apparently though they seem to be suggesting that no other players had been in physical contact for any amount of time, closer than 1m for 15mins or travelled near, the ones that tested positive

What happens to people who are then contacted?
If you are approached because one of your contacts has tested positive, you must stay at home for 14 days from your last point of contact with them.
You must self-isolate, even if you don't have symptoms.
Others in your household won't have to self-isolate unless they also develop symptoms, but must take extra care around you regarding social distancing and hand washing.

Its so sad to see Newland Ave decimated. Bowyers, Steves wet fish shop, Pools Corner, Shires chippy and all the rest gone. Its all takeaways, nailbars and student letting shops. My old gran would turn in her grave.

I have been trying to remember the name of the shop next the Monica. It was where I got my Corgi James Bond car. I've still got it.

On the same side of the road there was an electrician's shop called Thompson's. His wife taught us at Sidmouth Street. On the other side was a plumber's, I think, called Middleton's. The daughter was in my class, as was the daughter of Fosters. Another daughter in my class was Beattie. They owned the sweet shop between Sharp Street and Edgecumbe Street.

Hull City have received confirmation from the EFL that next Tuesday’s EFL Trophy tie against Grimsby Town has been postponed.

In line with EFL medical guidelines, the Mariners’ first-team squad are undergoing a period of self-isolation after a player tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday.

A new date will be confirmed in due course.

Clubs who test all their players three times a week don't have to self-isolate as all the other players have had negative tests, when a club hasn't tested anyone but the one who's tested positive, then it's assumed that all the other players might have it.
