7?

Stephen Quinn was our leading assistee, with a whopping grand total of 3 assists.

2 were corners, the third was one of his trademark super safe uninspired 5 yard sideways passes, which Diame then took right up to the edge of the box and smashed in that absolute belter against Newcastle, so he shouldn't really have much credit for that.

Elmo got more than that.

Yeah I had to unignore him, actually once you get passed his usual Bruce out & random **** to start argument drivel he posts some readable sensible stuff once in a while! I even agreed with something he wrote yesterday!

Yeah I think he's become a lot more rational lately, although still as antagonistic as ever.

Is Fraizer Campbell in line for a return to KC as Crystal Palace exit looms?

HULL City are looking at a possible move for Crystal Palace striker Fraizer Campbell, according to reports today.

The former Tiger has found himself pushed out of the Palace set up under manager Alan Pardew and has been touted for a return to the KC on a loan deal.

But Campbell's bulky £35,000 a week wage packet, which Palace are insisting needs to be met by his loan club, is likely to be a stumbling block after City successfully managed to haul down their wage bill over the summer.

Both the Sun and Sky Sports say Campbell, who scored 15 goals during City's 2007-08 Premier League promotion season, has been given the go-ahead to leave Palace if he can find a club.

And City have always retained an interest in the 28-year-old. Bruce, who signed Campbell when Sunderland boss, is keen on a short-term loan to cover the loss of the injured new signing Adam Diomande until November, but has so far held a greater interest in Manchester United rookie James Wilson.

Only a matter of time before this rumour surfaced <laugh>. Seriously though - does he offer anything different to what we have at the moment? More clinical maybe? And before all of the "We don't want him" brigade come on here, IF he were to come back, they would be cheering as soon as he scored along with the rest of us.

How time flies ! He's 28 now. Probably one more big contract left in him (I say that not knowing when his Palace contract expires).

Did he not say he wouldn't return to any of his former clubs and that each new club is a new journey bollocks or something like that ?

He could do a job for us, but £35k a week would make him our best paid player and that could cause friction (I also suspect we wouldn't agree to that much).

Don't think we would pay £35k a week and risk upsetting the dressing room.

He probably did, but players come out with all sorts of crap and then find a reason to do the opposite!

One left? Don't you know players play until they're 40? He's just starting his career.

To be honest, apart from his time with city on loan, he's not been a rip-roaring success at clubs he's been at maybe the championship his level.
