If we are really talking to him, I can't see us signing Palacios as well.
I've a feeling this may happen !!!City keeping tabs on free agent Nolan
THE transfer window is closed but that's not stopped the rumour mill at the KC StadiumYou must log in or register to see images.
Today's Daily Mirror links City with a move for veteran midfielder Kevin Nolan, who is now a free agent after leaving West Ham United.
Steve Bruce admitted his liking for Nolan after the weekend win over Preston and could feasibly make a move at any point for the unattached 33-year-old.
Nolan would not be wanting for experience. The former Bolton and Newcastle man has amassed almost 600 games in senior football and twice won promotion out of the Championship.
Nolan was heavily linked with a move to Cardiff City last week only for manager Russell Slade to play down the links.

by **** you mean 'hard' I guess? We could do with somebody of his experience to help the younger lads coming through and the likes of Clucas and Diomande who are stepping up, even if he didn't play much he could be a positive signing, a bit like a very **** version of Jay Jay Okocha
If they don't score goals Sterling they are not 'strikers' they are 'passengers'. Neither Graham, Sagbo or Altidore were known as 'target men', 'hold-up players' or anything other than 'striker' and they all failed miserably - with us anyway.
Good, if we're going to take on a midfield veteran I'd rather it be Nolan, he's a proven winner. If we are really talking to him, I can't see us signing Palacios as well.

I would agree that Abel is very guilty of that, I dont think Prozy really got himself into the positions to miss chances though.I was reading HDM and they come up with the old chestnut of Prozzie and Abel not being able to cope with the physical stuff in England. I never saw that as a problem. The problem they had was missing easy chances.
If we're planning to sign the 2009/10 Kevin Nolan, can we sign the 1994/95 Alan Shearer too?
We wouldn't need him if we had Shearer.Would be a good addition. Would also look at Carlton Cole on a free.
No doubt the 94/95 Shearer wouldn't be good enough for TigerRoo.We wouldn't need him if we had Shearer.

This is code for "Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea come and get me, or failing that QPR or Brentford, or at a pinch Leyton Orient""
Asked if he had any plans for his next venture, the midfielder revealed he is putting family first and is eager to remain in the capital.
“I’m going to take a few days now and sit back and look at my options. I’m quite willing to do anything, but it’s got to be right for me and the family,” he added.
“I think I’m going to stay down in London, my kids are settled here".
