I doubt it. They were mainly Leagues 1 and 2 players I think.Anyone we'd be interested in?

Shock treatment= diet, Ramos at Spurs forced him into that and he looked loads better, I remember it at the time. Trouble is he was replaced by good old 'arry Rednapp who is not as ruthless. The same would happen to Huddlestone if he went abroad, in Serie A they'd have him lean and mean in no time
The thing is Huddlestone looks as lean currently as at any other time in his career.
There's got to be some issue with his fitness or something if it's not the diet, I can't see Bruce being a strict disciplinarian in this so maybe it's his faultThe thing is Huddlestone looks as lean currently as at any other time in his career.
Somehow I thought that Proschwitz had a good reputation for taking penalties - I could be wrong. Perhaps the Cardiff GK that day had practiced more at saving penalties. Who knows.I wasn't trying to make out that is how he should be judged. Somebody said the problem had been he hadn't been offered enough game time but when he had a chance to score he always took it. I think the penalty is a good example to show he didn't.
Le Tissier, Lambert, Rooney and Gerrard usually took good penalties. Other players should watch them. You get the impression that many penalty takers hardly ever practice penalties. How could Steve Bruce have thought that letting Aluko take a penalty would be a good idea?

I have been to a Norwegian league match and I can assure you it is not Sunday League. I would say League 1 would about right so this guy could possibly be a good signing. You mean in that Sunday league? 3 in 28 in Belarus then 17 in Norway? Good god.
You could be right as look what happened to Samson.Needs to grow his hair.
To be fair the ones we intend to keep which I hope he is one of them need sorting out letting players run there contracts down has a habit of biting us in the arse !Curtis still sulking?

I guess the Andre Gray transfer saga makes more sense now.
Had we shifted Jelavic earlier for the same price, it would seem he would still have been out or price range.
(We've paid £1.7M for his replacement, and a goalkeeper deal has collapsed because we weren't prepared to spend more than £1.8M)
The key to the deal must have been the sale (not loan) of Hernandez. Once it became clear that Torino weren't prepared to buy, that's when Gray moved on.
I still believe Hernandez will score more than Gray in this division.
The ex-missus has got a blonde wig she might want to sell cheap. Think he'll go for it ?Needs to grow his hair.
Really not a fan of all this public crying out, as Berahino has done today. He has shot himself right in the foot in terms of his short term future. Davies isn't to the same degree, but if you have an issue then you should go and knock on the managers door.To be fair the ones we intend to keep which I hope he is one of them need sorting out letting players run there contracts down has a habit of biting us in the arse !
I don't know the statistics about chances to goals. The penalty was an easy one to highlight the suggestion that he always took his chances. I dont even think the penalty was the only easy chance he missed!Somehow I thought that Proschwitz had a good reputation for taking penalties - I could be wrong. You may have been better highlighting the ratio of goals scored to chances presented in open play to prove your point rather than picking on one failed penalty. Whoever it was who said "always" should have done the same.
I seem to recall we had a discussion about penalty taking a couple of years ago Peter.![]()
If he adopts the same afro he'll look like Harpo Marx. The ex-missus has got a blonde wig she might want to sell cheap. Think he'll go for it ?

Maybe, I do think the stamina of some of our players is behind where it should be, it's a visual thing that some teams go for the full 90 plus injury time. Last season we visibly wilted after 80 odd minutes - I'm sure we concede a lot of goals in the last 5-10 minutes. There's got to be some issue with his fitness or something if it's not the diet, I can't see Bruce being a strict disciplinarian in this so maybe it's his fault

He was replaced by Harry Redknapp who took Tom and made him the key midfield figure in a side that qualified for the champions league, a key figure who captained Spurs in their champions league victory over then holders of the competition Inter Milan.
Huddlestone is far better than what Steve Bruce is getting from him, almost certainly down to the dreadful style of football we play.
Looks like we are sending out Luer on loan. Shame I would rather use in than this Norwegian.
