Where have you seen that? I would have given him a game against Swansea since he's scored twice in the C1C.
Someone just put it on the Striker thread.

.
Huddlestone is far better than what Steve Bruce is getting from him, almost certainly down to the dreadful style of football we play.
To be fair the ones we intend to keep which I hope he is one of them need sorting out letting players run there contracts down has a habit of biting us in the arse !
What an underwhelming signing. Looks like Bruce has spun his globe and signed somebody from where his finger ends up.
That a properly stupid comment.
Don't blame the manager for the player. And the sad fact is we play championship football and not some fancy tippy tap ****e that exists in the minds of idealist and dimwits.
He came to us for a reason, and he is still with us for a reason, and to blame Bruce is just bad logic.

Maybe he should be on The Big Bang Theory!Han er en spiller med fysikk og «power», som er ganske viktig i England. Særlig i Championship. Det er et steg opp for han, for all del. Det er vanskelig å være sikker, men tror han har ferdighetene og egenskapene som passer.
He is a player with physics and "power," which is quite important in England. Especially in the Championship. It is a step up for him, by all means. It's hard to be sure, but think he has the skills and qualities that fit.
Various Norwegian pundits saying why our new boy will succeed:

Anybody who thinks that Nick Proschite was a striker needs to go and see their pshytiatrist.
That includes you too Sir Cheschite Ben.
He was a striker. Just not a very good one for us.
Since there is a couple of Norwegians popping up, do you know if Ian McParland is still at Sogndal?
It would be interesting to know how we acquire a player like Diamande (spelling?). How much scouting has been done and who by? What factors are used to determine whether he will make it in the Championship and whole bunch of other factors that due diligence would require when you spend 1.5 mil. Anybody know, genuine ?
Regardless the YouTube stuff makes me feel excited he looks an outstanding talent. And I have not been as excited by a footballers YouTube video since we were allegedly in the market for Negredo. All that Diamande lacks is Negredos acrobatic somersault after he scored one of his goals.
Its good job that the Citys talent spotting team do a lot more than looking at YouTube videos-right?
And the same would apply to Graham, Sagbo and Altidore.
They were all cr@p!
Afraid I can't answer your question about how we go about scouting these foreign players, but I doubt it's based solely on reviewing youtube videos. It would be interesting to know how we acquire a player like Diamande (spelling?). And why would you.Too true, but, from a reliable source, we hear that neither the Hull City Board nor Steve Bruce and his panel, do anything until they have rang Big Vern's brother for approval.
That's exactly why you see all this tapping back and forth you see from players.Sky Sports went behind the scenes at Bournemouth, and they had four or five scouts sat in a room reviewing clips of players. I presume they had more extensive vision than just Youtube highlights, but a lot of Deadline Day stuff would be too short notice to get vision of the players other than through highlights or match replays, rather than actually going to the games and watching.
In fact, I like that Danish club's model - not sure if Brentford does the same - of having specific key stats they look for in the players they recruit, and actually don't watch vision because they believe it warps their perception of the player. If the player is succeeding in key statistical areas - not goals, assists, whatever, but things like pass completion, key passes, involvement in scoring opportunities, etc. - then that's the most important thing.
