Han er en spiller med fysikk og «power», som er ganske viktig i England. Særlig i Championship. Det er et steg opp for han, for all del. Det er vanskelig å være sikker, men tror han har ferdighetene og egenskapene som passer. He is a player with physics and "power," which is quite important in England. Especially in the Championship. It is a step up for him, by all means. It's hard to be sure, but think he has the skills and qualities that fit. From what I've seen of Huddlestone in the last year it would suggest to me that he's a busted flush, and not many clubs want to buy those. Obviously I hope that he proves me wrong, but he going to have to go some to take the place of either Diame or Maloney, and on current form Meyler. The only way back would appear to be hard work and I don't know if he has that in his locker.
Well, that's been a pretty bloody good transfer window in my view, we've got at the moment a very strong looking Championship squad, with 2 long term loan signing spots available to us to strengthen in goal and possibly CM depending on people's fitness. Can't believe people are either slagging off or raving about a new player based on a youtube vid, lest we forget Manucho looked good on Youtube! Time will tell on all players, new and current, we know who we've got now, they know where they are , time to crack on with a promotion bid
Ellewoods will be interested: Han gir trener Bob Bradley en stor del av æren for suksessen: – Jeg fikk en god trener i Bob (Bradley), så all ære til han for at han fikk det beste ut av meg. Hele Stabæk-familien skal ha all ære for suksessen min, sier han til budstikka.no. He gives coach Bob Bradley a large share of the credit for success: - I got a good coach in Bob (Bradley), so all honor to him for that he got the best out of me. Stabæk entire family deserve credit for my success, he says to budstikka.no.
can`t see where anyone has particularly raved about him tbh, and i think everyone that has had a positive input on him have eluded to the fact that it`s you tube, and as such we are aware its only the good bits that are shown, but the glimpses on there show a encouraging signs, but TWT. As for those who are slating the lad without actually seeing or knowing about him, I totally agree.
Same, from what I've seen on those clips we've just bought Norways version of Andre Gray, and ok he hasn't played in the Championship before, but neither had Gray until last season and he did ok. This guy looks to have very similar attributes to Gray, I'm chuffed to bits with a fee of £1.7M and can only think that some on here love to piss and moan, they're maybe contracting it from TubbyFucker!
I must say it has been as good an end to the window as we could hope for. Held onto Elmo, Dawson, Diame and Huddlestone really stand a good chance to make the top 2 by the end of the season.
I would blame Bruce for getting him to take the penalty then. I couldn't believe it when he stepped up to take it. It seemed like a death wish. The guy said if he had a chance to score he scored which clearly wasn't the case. If the guy had said: "If he had a chance to score then he sometimes scored" I wouldn't have complained about the statement. Are you saying that wrong is the new right?
Phil Buckingham on twitter he's has been in touch with city who state there was no approach by any club for any city player after the jelly move to west ham. the report re Aston Villa is a load of rubbish.
Maybe the betting companies don't change their odds on the last day of the window but I was surprised that our odds haven't changed. We have until January to put a good run together and if we do well I would think players would rather stay with us than risk relegation from Premier League with some other club.
I think "power" is the key word. It's what we've been desperately missing. Akpom has skill and Hernandez has some good moves but we've had no one who has the power to run at defenders and hold them off. He is built strongly with good balance and defenders will be cautious about committing against him....like Gomis at Swansea for example. Gives us a great option up front and has speed also.
What does that mean then? Is it Huddlestone who decides the ponderous play or Bruce? If not Bruce I would think that he would tell Huddlestone both before and during the match.
The amazing thing is that on the last day of the window I have read that some managers get offered a player from a foreign league and they can only look at youtube to judge whether they want them.
sadly that reeks of desperation, and ill planning, but wholly believable given the day and age we live in.
Looking forward to the next seven games as they will define us. This new lad is an exciting prospect, he seems to have the movement and skills at speed which is excellent. We have an experienced midfield and some real options on formation. Let's see how it works out.
