I can't understand all the excitement about losing Jelavic. He's our best striker. I'm sure the club has financial reasons to get rid and whatever but the team is definitely weakened by losing him. Looks like yet again we're going to come out of a transfer window with **** all up front.
However good he is, he hasn't turned up this season and clearly doesn't want to play in the championship. I'm convinced a fully fit Jelavic would have gone a big way to keeping us up last season. Trouble is, as we all know, he is injury prone. So thanks for the goals Jela and good luck - but its time to part company.

He's desperate to leave and it's shown in his performances, the sooner he's gone and we can get a replacement, the better.

I've always thought that Jelavic and Huddlestone (who one or two still seem to have a man crush on) are overrated. Jelavic runs about a lot but the end product is rarely there. Both him and Hernandez missed some sitters last season that helped send us down, and on top of that he's injury prone as well.

This was Jelavic from last season. Unfortunately this seasons Jelavic was like some cheap imitation.

Does the Italian transfer window close today? I'm sure it does so by the end of the day we should know if we've still got Hernandez. Giving us tomorrow to sort a replacement if needed

Just checked its 23:59 tonight

We might need to get the keeper fine today aswell

A fully fit, and interested Jella would of course be an asset for us during this season, but his performances, and attitude haven`t been there. If ever there was a man that didn`t want to be here this is it. Imagine him getting picked every week and the effect that would have on the squad for those players giving their all. Someone (I believe OLM) mentioned earlier in the thread that they only wanted to move one out specifically and that was Jella, this reading between the lines is down to his attitude, rotten apple and all that. Okay Hernandez isn`t the world beater we hoped for but at least the bloke appears to have pulled his socks up and giving it a go. For me both Jella and Hudd can both go, we need players 100% committed to the cause and from what I`ve seen to date neither want to be here.

Think it was after the wolves match remember seeing SB pull Jelavic to one side on the touchline at the end of the match and have a very intense conversation with him lots of finger pointing from SB never seen that before from SB ,just wonder if that was SB telling the world this boy giving me problems and he's out of here as soon as I can get shut , he always said in the past if he got anything to say to his players he'll say it to them in the dressing room in private, its a shame it ended this way for Jelavic with fans wanting him out(rightly so)because of his attitude, because he was one off our best larkers in the PL and always, when fit gave 100%.

He was a cock in the wolves game akpom was dropping deep to make something happen and jelavic was just stood around offering no support at all to akpom who had words with him, jelavics reaction was appalling shouting and snarling at a young lad who was asking him as a senior for support and effort

Tarrrraaaa jelavic, huddlestone next please we unfortunatley bought a few mercenaries along the way

Don,t think Hudd was a mercenary. He would of been on the same cash at Spurs. Think he wanted to play football. Has not turned out well in the end but he was quality in the first 6 months til he got found out . The guy can play but seemed seems to lie too deep and not open up defences.

Some will argue the efforts not there with hudds im one of them hes so half arsed its unreal, just going through the motions collecting a massive wage no real passion
