Akpom too so that leaves Hernandez as the only senior striker.

Regarding Hooper... the deal to Wednesday fell through, and they then had a look at Kyle Lafferty at Norwich (who would be a good player here too).

Wednesday also bought Forestieri from Watford for £3m......although he is certainly not my cup of tea, someone like Carlton Cole could be just what we need- something quite different up front to what we already have and someone who could hopefully hold the ball up and get on the end of some of our crosses.
In terms of goalscoring, Vydra is probably the best we could hope given our funds, but he seems to thrive playing just off a bigger striker.

When did they sign Forestieri? Didn't realise that. They are chucking some brass at it.

Is this Gary Hooper? Sure i saw him come on for the few minutes today..............

A few teams throwing money around this year.......... Could be tight at the top.....
