Funny that people say they would rather have a guy they've never seen, that has never played at a higher level, than one they know, just because he's made mistakes at this level.

I doubt if Vito would be a cheaper option when you take wages into account.

He did well for us - but his error count over the past 12 months or so is worrying.

Yeah I agree. When he came to us on loan he looked an outstanding shotstopper, but then so can McGregor be. My memory isn't that great but as I recall his distribution and the odd error, in a similar vein to McGregor made him a bit of a liability. Maybe he's improved with age. I'd still rather have Bentley.

No one makes as many errors as McGregor. Mcgegor 'is' an error.

Only seen him play once when we played Southend in the cup. I remember thinking this keeper looks shaky but I can't remember why.

Long time ago though, plenty of time for a young lad to improve.

Not really, you want a player in based on his reputation, and Bentley is fast acquiring a very good one. Other than that the little that I've seen of him tells me that he's what we need.
 
Vito made a **** load for sunderland thats why he was dropped.. he also made a huge clanger for Arsenal in the champions league away in Greece

Thought he looked alright that day, though from memory we didn't give him much to work with, until Fryatt's two goals, which were more brilliance by Fryatt than anything Bentley did wrong I thought. Great day out that was.
