Logged in for the first time in a long time. After reading a ton of drivel thought I would put on an actual rumour.. Sports Talk mentioned this morning that we are in for Vito Mannone again who wants to leave Sunderland. Would be happy with that..

 

Would Vito be the cheap option compared to Bentley, or is it simply that Southend won't sell him? Either way they're both better than what we've got.

Not so sure about that LBIA, Vito has plenty of mistakes in him too.

 

I dont remember Vito making many mistakes at the same level McGregor has. Few and far between

Yeah I agree. When he came to us on loan he looked an outstanding shotstopper, but then so can McGregor be. My memory isn't that great but as I recall his distribution and the odd error, in a similar vein to McGregor made him a bit of a liability. Maybe he's improved with age. I'd still rather have Bentley.
