Bruce get's a lot of stick - completely unjustified in my book. He's not there to win awards for 90 metre accurate passes. He's there to stop the opposition and break up play, which he does with aplomb. He sticks his head, body or foot in where most of our other defenders past and present won't. Where he might get hurt, with the exception of the legend McShane. How many times have we seen him sporting a head bandage or having stitches. He's not the most talented footballer, but he has the heart and courage to battle on the pitch.

Junior has some admirable qualities, but I'm not sure he's ever achieved aplomb. That feels more of a Jobbo/Keith Edwards trait.

Apparently 5 championship clubs are looking at Will Buckley, I rate him very highly in this league and at £1million, id of had him above Clucas.

I'm sure the reason most have the issue is his surname. I don't necessarily agree with silly free kicks bit, I don't think he gives any more or any less free kicks away than our other defenders. I know with 3 at the back we look a damn sight more defensively sound than we do at present.

I doubt many if any would swap managers with us.

No midfield or anything Luke warm upfront either. Add to that no real attacking ideas and a wobbly keeper and there you have it,a top six team in the making.
