I've a feeling Fatty is only playing 4-4-2 because of the way Davies and Dawson are performing, lose one of these two and we are f*cked and back to 5-3-2

Diamond worked well for us for about two games last season until Bruce saw we were playing too good football making him too **** scared to use it again.

Personally, I'd play 3-5-2 to accommodate an extra midfielder.

This would probably be my starting 11, though you could easily swap the players in bold for Hayden/Odubajo/Maguire/Hernandez

I think there's a strong possibility the players in bold won't be here after deadline day.

Not keen on the 3-5-2 GLP, not the way that Bruce usually plays it anyway, but Mahoney might make all the difference to it.

It's the lesser of two evils. I think we have looked awful playing a 4-4-2. We don't look at all comfortable with it, and that's against fairly mediocre opposition! Although we've picked up some points, I think we've been really exposed defensively against all the teams we have played so far, include Altrincham in that aswell.
