Lets be honest, he looks a quality player, he's been very good for the past couple of seasons and started this season off well too. He'll do well for Burnley and they usually know how to pick a striker... Rodriguez, Austin...

Im surprised that we never matched the Burnley offer and tried to get him last minute. Ehab should have realised once 2 other clubs are willing to pay the price that he must be worth it, especially when one of those clubs is Burnley... who never ever spend stupid money.

We've missed out here, I think he would have definitely scored goals for us and made promotion easier. Just my opinion..

Wonder if he really wants to be there? Not exactly an upwards move...

It is. Brentford remain a small club who are selling their best players; Burnley have kept most of their squad intact and have an excellent manager.

But let's be honest- there are better squads in the Championship. Watched two Burnley games on tele, and they really aren't anything special. Fair enough, if Boyd manages to go on top form, then they could be a threat - but Arfield and Jones aren't brilliant and the back look VERY dodgy. They'll finish 10th - 12th.

Good signing , a pity we missed out on him. Only time will tell if he could have made a massive difference to our season. Think Bruce will be disappointed the club wouldn't back his judgement. Boxing Day , Burnley at home , I can see it now .

I'm not that bothered about Gray, more bothered about who we'll end up with now. The likes of Gayle and Vydra are lightweight strikers who, albeit talented, aren't what we need and won't compliment what we've got already. I thought Gray would fit in perfectly alongside what we've got. Glad its all over though and we can start looking elsewhere.

As said before, getting Gray would have been ace, but not getting him is not the end of the World.

£9m as well... it's overpriced.

Funny how Dyche was criticising teams like Derby for spending £5m at this level, only to go and nearly double that...

Gray to Burnely now complete
£8 million plus add one. We did well to resi

If he's that good why have Brentford sold him? Silly price perhaps?

Looking back on his time at Shrewsbury, Gray said "I was at the stage in my life where I thought everything was set for me. I didn’t really care about playing in Shrewsbury’s reserves, which I shouldn’t have been".

He's now one of the best strikers in the Championship, Shrewsbury's loss was Luton and Brentford's gain.
Can we now agree that Gray is ****? :-)
