So what happens if we sign Gray and no one wants Jela or Abel? Do we keep a £17m/£50kish per week strike force on the bench?
We may play two experienced strikers some times or we may even have injuries, suspensions or loss of form.
You remember how managers say the reason they are so far down the league is due to injuries? I think even Steve Bruce used that excuse last year.

People have more than one of the above because they are using them for different purposes. I know people who have holiday homes but unless they are very rich they may only use them for a couple of months a year. I would rather stay in a hotel.
the cars all have a purpose...the holiday home is a crock of cack as others have sussed

Yes. And I think using all our funds on one play might just exacerbate that very problem in a few other areas we are very light in now, not just possibly by the time the window shuts.

Well that
So what happens if we sign Gray and no one wants Jela or Abel? Do we keep a £17m/£50kish per week Indeed that is the issue. Nobody is circling around our existing forwards who are seen as expensive risks and if we buy (insert "whoever we assume to be our preferred striker") then the price of Jela and Abel H goes through the floor which we can't afford for business and for FFP reasons.

A guy on Twitter claims he spoke to Ehab today. Claims bids in for Gayle and loan offer for Vydra, hopeful of getting one of them. Most worried about losing Dawson and Huddlestone. Obviously it could be BS

Are you an angel putting on a play at the theatre?

Yes if need be for the good of the team,
Nobody can expect Chuba to lead the line for a full season without some loss of form due to his age and inexperience,
Jelavic can be that man if he stays fit, stays and stays interested,
Abel. ...same as Jelavic.
That's only three front line strikers all with doubts about them.
That's not enough for a long hard season even if they are all here after deadline day.

This is so obvious it is amazing that some people don't agree.

Looks like gray has signed for Burnley, picture on their forum with what looks to be a pitchside photo. Picture isn't very clear though, and granted it may not be a pitchside photo :)
