Sure, but he's been pretty vocally critical of teams trying to 'buy the league'.

Also, no idea where they've got the money from.
I think most clubs can find the money if there's a good chance of making the difference between automatic promotion and also rans.
Burnley have traditionally spent very little though. Their record transfer fee is George Boyd at 3m. Their supporters have always rubbished these rumours linking them with Gray because of the money involved.
They have plenty of money. They have chosen to spend it a different way. They have now decided they need to be back in the Premier League.
Clearly they do if they've had the bid accepted, but their supporters are just as surprised as us.
How much a club has spent in the past isn't really an indictment of how much they'd be willing to spend this season. We went from having a very small transfer budget to making huge signings in a relatively short space of time, there's no reason why Burnley couldn't do the same. There's big money on offer for whoever finds themselves in the PL next season, clubs (us included) will be doing everything they can to go up.
Also surprised Brentford didn't refuse Burnley's offer until after their match this weekend. Suppose they could include a clause that he can't play against them, I think that happens sometimes.
He'd have to sign in the next half hour to play for them tomorrow, it seems unlikely.
My bet on him for golden boot is not enjoying the prospect of him missing a game.
Ffs, just give them the money and get Gray here. One of our strikers is bound to go on deadline day and then we'll be short.
