Stop been dosile ****..

I don't asterix anything. I swear & swear properly. None of this good for TV "fecker" **** for me, the word is ****er. If you're getting c**t, f**k, bl***y, w**k , c**p, b**ch, b****rd, a**e, b*****ks & s**t instead of ****, ****, bloody, ****, crap, bitch, bastard, arse, bollocks & **** then you must have your swear filter on.

"asterix"? Oh, the Gaul. You're not very good at this, are you?

Hull City have agreed a undisclosed fee for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle.

I don't know this account and they don't have many followers, so it's probably bollocks.

Even though, as you say, it's probably bollocks, I would be happy with that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brucey was having a look considering how much Brentford are ****ing about.

Brentford aren't ****ing about, they gave us a price, but we won't meet it.

The irony here would be, that Gayle is about the same price Brentford want for Gray.

It'll certainly be interesting to see if we raid the Egyptian market again. Now that we've been relegated there's plenty of their players that can do a job at this level.

Speaking of keepers, I've always rated Sherif Ekramy, what's he doing these days? Was in Holland last time I saw him play...
How the **** have you always rated him!!?? According to wiki he played 7 games in 4 ****ing years for Feyenoord.

If Huddlestone leaves then I think there is a good chance we would go in for Forster-Caskey.

P.s I would much rather have Andre Gray over Dwight Gayle.

I think the train has already left the station with Gray.
Brentford don't need to sell, they don't want to lose him and will only do so for 'silly' money, while whoever is negotiating for us still seems to think we'll get him at market value or less.

At the start of the talks I think we could have got him for £6million + add ons, but with every goal he scores and every stupid bid we put in the price goes up. It wouldn't surprise me if we're now looking at £8million + add ons at least.

The truth is our negotiators have ****ed this one up and it's time to move on, which is a shame because there's every chance that a Grey/ Akpom partnership could have got us the goals for promotion.
A Gray mist seems to be hanging around the club on this one. The wind has gone out of our sails, low pressure prevails and all is becalmed. Plan 'B' doesn't seem to be in the forecast however.

Gray is still developing and we don't know what he might become - he looks at least to be of very good Championship level.

Gayle has levelled out and is a very good Championship player and would be a decent squad player at Premier level...I'm a gambler so would always go for the unknown ie Gray

I'd take Gayle for the right price. He was only 22 the last time he played in the championship I don't know why people would have expected him to bag dozens. He is still young and would certainly score a good number.

Very Impressive poetic skills TC. I was almost expecting a huge gnarled white Iain Dowie to explode through the surface and plunge back under in a shower of froth.

Agreed. There's a danger in getting a player who has played in the PL and suddenly finds himself back in the championship, especially if it's not bacause his team has been relegated. In many ways that would shatter his confidence somewhat. It's a rare player who can come out of such a setback with rejuvenated vigour to try to fight his way back up to the top.
Gray on the other hand is on an upward trend so would fight much harder to prove himself capable of reaching greater hights, either with us as potential promotion candidates or as a squad player with an e.g bottom 10 PL team.
A much better gamble and upside to Gray.

I know you'll think Im doing it on purpose but really not impressed by the kid. I know he's young and been in the prem but feels like a poor man's campbell. He's definitely back up plan material, would take Gray over him.
