I think the delay in the Grey deal is to allow Brentford time to calm down and take a reality check.
They seem to be getting a bit over-excited and greedy, but the truth is they now have an unsettled player and no other suitors to provoke an auction.

My guess is we will start looking elsewhere and Brentford will come back with their tails between their legs and willing to be far more reasonable.

Get the opinion that its Brentford who are mucking about and using their mouthpiece in the Mirror to push there propaganda .
Aren't they just trying to buy their way up the leagues but suddenly the players decided they wanted to jump ship?

You might want to do a little research on Matthew Benham, he's definitely not a 'tail between his legs' type.

Reactions: Pauly Paul
With the injuries we get a smaller squad with fewer strikers and fewer options in midfield could be a problem.

I thought they had put together a decent squad with a decent manager and then played their way up the leagues - then, for whatever reason, they have let it unravel a tad. Money and ambition are very unsettling things.
