Lots of footballers play until their mid 30s now if they look after themselves,
It's usually about 38-39 when they retire .
The ones who are past it in their early 30s are the injury prone ones or fish, chips and booze merchants.
 
For a team whos biggest weakness is their creativity maloneys a shrewd signing based on the assist stats glp posted.

Seems bruces is creating a direct team with maloney, odubajo akpom and gray if he signs all players who like to recieve the ball turn and run at goal, hopefully it will take us away from the painfully slow build up we had last season and the one trick longball to elmo.

can odubajo play on the left?

Pleeeeease let us sign a quality keeper, that looks to be our weakest position to me, based on the presumption that we will eventually sign Gray.

bench: mcgregor, bruce, maguire, taylor, maloney, palacios, ?striker?

thats a ****ing quality side.. pace, creativity, youth, experience... perfect balance.

the good thing about that is we only need to sign 2 more players that we're already linked with... bentley & gray..

It looks like we might go 4-4-2. Though we now have Lenihan/Taylor/Elmo/Odubajo who can all play that RB/RWB role. For the left we only have CJM and Robertson that can play LB/LWB. Are we short of naturally left sided players? I know Snodgrass is a lefty, but he prefers playing on the right.
 
90% certain i saw a post saying odubajo can play both flanks full back and winger positions

Hopefully the case as we'l have decent cover all over then

I haven't read all the posts cos much of it is ****ing interminable so I might have missed something, but are you really suggesting all over 30s are (sic) passed it?

Edit - actually re-reading it I don't think you're saying that. Is someone else saying it then?
