Haha. Mine's actually about Cairney anyway.
You young lads have far better memories than us old farts. I'd never be able to remember Cairney's or Livermore's shirt numbers - having 11 on the park was tough enough - pre sub days, pre-squad number days & pre-TV days - and most often or not the goalkeeper didn't have one.
Lot to learn me !!

Darwin/Cairns/Townsville etc. - all cities up North in Australia - will generally be far hotter even in winter as they're close to the equator.
Duh. That is not the point.
Vancouver is much "hotter" than Yellowknife in December, but it is winter in both.

Actually just checked Buckingham's feed, and he's retweeted the news about Hayden which I don't think he generally does unless it's official.

Can we analyze this ?
My original (pathetic perhaps) joke was about the "temperatures" in Oz and Northern California.
You chipped in with my N vs S hemisphere blind spot.
TigerSydney said it was actually cooler in (presumably) Sydney.
I again joked (pathetically) about mistaking Sydney with Darwin during the Oz (Southern Hemisphere ?) winter.
You again chipped in with a strange question " So it's not winter in Darwin but it is in Sydney ?".
I suggested a possible temperature difference between Darwin & Sydney in the Oz winter, which SydneyTiger14 appears to confirm.
You say something about the relative temp between Vancouver & Yellowknife in winter suggesting it's not the point.

What is the point ? Relating to my original point( a joke) about the heat in Northern Cal and Oz ?

Go and lie down there's a good chap. I was just being pedantic.

So it looks like it's Odubajo and Gray, or neither. I like this. Since the players will know each other, they'll link up much better and perhaps Gray will settle in quicker and start scoring much earlier. No mention I can find of this supposed 21-day waiting period, so I'm still convinced it's a bollocks twitter rumour.

Interestingly Southend fans think we're preparing a £2m bid for Bentley. Though I suspect we could get him for cheaper than that

I thought the papers were saying 1.5 would get him. Reading the thread it's a guy saying he heard from his friend, which is probably just as legit as Vern's boys girl at the KC store.

Uh and it was 105 here today, not as bad as the 108 it was yesterday but still pretty hot. I got no idea what that is in your Celsius thingy.

It makes so much sense that it's hard to think we came up with it. I know we like to talk up Phelan but perhaps he is having an influence?
