Complimentary Youtube footage of Hayden in Arsenals 2014-15 pre season. He looks very comfortable on the ball, perhaps a direct replacement for Chester? I must admit I've heard but not seen too much of him and obviously youtube isn't much to go on, but I he certainly looks capable of playing in the Championship. Stick a buy out clause in there, he's only got 2 years left on his deal.

If we had kept Long we wouldn't have been relegated. That would have been good enough for me.I do wish people wouldn't rave on about Long as if he was some sort of goal machine - he was decent, a good player, but he wasn't ****ing World Class.
Controversial. If we had kept Long we wouldn't have been relegated. That would have been good enough for me.

But then we'd never have seen Abel grace the KC, oh wait...I agree with you Peter.

Agree he could have done better, just think some of the better clubs were reluctant because of his height, that's why im surprised he's gone to WBA and Pulis he usually likes his defenders that he buys, six foot and over.
That happens in the MLS, teams can offer more and it cancels out the other teams bids so if it's 3.5 and you bid 3.6 you are now the only team to have a bid accepted as the 3.6 cancels the 3.5 so the player can not even talk to the team that bid 3.5. It's like a release clause which triggers an auction, there is a certain amount of days that teams are allowed to match or bid higher.
Something similar happens with players leaving England. Like when altidore left to Toronto, another MLS club was ahead of Toronto so Toronto had to compensate the other MLS team to sign him from England as the other MLS team could kill the deal with Sunderland regardless of what Sunderland or altidore wanted. When drogba signed yesterday Chicago was ahead of Montreal so Montreal had to give Chicago money in order to sign him in the same way as altidore. It doesn't happen in England. If a buy out clause is triggered then the club who triggered it are allowed to discuss personal terms with the player

You probably hit reply in two different posts by accident. It's how tickler quotes 20 people in a post.Dunno what happened there with the double quote
. Go **** yourself and put me on ignore.Stop ****ing talking about the MLS. No one gives a **** and it isn't relevant.
No, that would be £4.5m.Does that mean we've bid roughly 5.5m for Gray if the rumoured 8m combined price is correct.

Is this a new verb? We've already clarified my sleepy mind today
"I can math"
Really go **** yourself and put me on ignore. If you want to say something to me send me a message next time. Until then the ignore button your best option.Mate everyone's saying the same thing. Talking about the weird draft system in the US has no relevance to triggering the release clause of a player in England. You bring the MLS up at every opportunity.
