I was just about to say I bet it's about £6m.

I think it's a good one, it's over four times his asset value. Seems like there's something going on behind the scenes there, no posturing and public **** offing. Just a bid and off he goes.

I now no longer support Hull City.

Most worrying think is we are losing all our best young players and cant shift the older members of the squad. We are really lacking many players with geniune pace.. Bruce said he wants a young hungry team .. if we did manage to go up we would need to inject some good young players in the team which wont be cheap
 
Id expect more money for Chester. Proven Premiership quality, Welsh international and still young. £6m? not good enough.

Hopefully Bruce plays 4 at the back this season and in Dawson and Davies we've got a very good and experienced CB pairing, with Maguire, Bruce & Taylor as cover.

The question now is will this Ince, Brady & Chester money be put to good use? I dont mean signing free 30 year old players, or unproven lower league players, but adding some real quality to the team.. Time will tell I guess..
 
Am i just being bitter when i say i think Chester is abit overrated? i mean he had a handful of good games for us last season but £6m is a very good deal for us imo! he can be replaced......
