Ryan Taylor has completed a move to Hull City after his Newcastle United release.

The utility man – who was plagued by injuries during his time on Tyneside – passed his medical with the Tigers and will now team up with Steve Bruce’s side.

Taylor was unhappy to learn he had been released by the Magpies by a telephone call from former head coach John Carver.

The Merseysider will never be forgotten for his goal against Sunderland in the Wear-Tyne derby back in 2011 at the Stadium of Light – and ironically the man he left feeling glum that day is now his new boss.

Taylor’s last three years at Newcastle were a painful affair, with much of that period spent in the treatment room. Taylor has spent the last fortnight on trial with the Tigers.

He has only managed 148 leagues games since 2005. I have managed more 5 a side games on a Wednesday night in that period of time.

So sad to see that Stoke, Swansea, West Brom and Crystal Palace have now established themselves as a Premier League Clubs and are attracting some top quality players.

All similar size clubs to us. All promoted in and around times we have been promoted. All have a similar stature.

And yet we are mismanaged to the nth degree.
Stoke have actually spent a fair whack of money.

"Next stage. Brady signs for an undisclosed fee. Hull say its £ 7 million and Norwich say its nowhere near that. Brady says once he had spoken to AN and listened to his vision of the future he knew straight away he wanted to sign. He then praises the training facilities and supporters, probably mentioning how great CR was to play at when he played there for Hull. Cue photo of him holding crap new shirt."

<laugh>

I bet he's right and all.

The Norwich shirt is pretty vile. Undisclosed fee, why do they bother?
