I doubt Brady "doesn't want to go" when he's quoted as everywhere else saying he wants PL football. If he didn't want to go, he should put his foot down and say so.. That's exactly what Borini did to Sunderland when Liverpool were showing him the door. Cleverly nearly did the same to Villa too.

Yep. He'd just refuse to sign personal terms with Norwich if that was the case.

I think James Chester is absolute quality and will end up just one level below the very top. He's got the quality to end up at an Everton or Spurs type team. I would rather him help us get back up and then move to a bigger club in a few years. But if he is to move it hopefully won't be to relegation fodder. I think he might end up at Swansea with Ashley Williams

Don't be daft, he's worse than Brady.

I don't understand the comparison. I know you've been having this argument with others for a few pages but it's apples and oranges. Both being completely different things to the team. In regards to who's most valuable to the team.... I would say Chester. I do really rate Brady though and will be sad to see him go.

Didn't think Clayton Failia looked great today, but I've just done some YouTube scouting and he looks a very handy player with a great freekick.

He's a lwb though apparently so l can't see us signing him with Robertson and the imminent arrival of Clucas

Agreed.

Brady hasn't found the level of consistency in his game that Chester has though, and hasn't contributed much offensively. Heck, I'd gamble that Chester has actually scored more in the PL for us than Brady!

Either way I would be sad to see them go. In my opinion they are our two most valuable assets. Which is probably why they're being so coverted. We have a Brady replacement in Robertson though. And we have plenty of quality cover at CB. Especially if we revert to 4-4-2 and Bruce ****s off ****ty 3-5-2

Strange how they expect Taylor to sign by Wednesday having not played a game for us. I thought they would want to see him at least play on Wednesday before offering a deal.

Hey GLP
It smacks of desperation and chance. A bit like that favourite old game - pin the tail on the donkey.

"Next stage. Brady signs for an undisclosed fee. Hull say its £ 7 million and Norwich say its nowhere near that. Brady says once he had spoken to AN and listened to his vision of the future he knew straight away he wanted to sign. He then praises the training facilities and supporters, probably mentioning how great CR was to play at when he played there for Hull. Cue photo of him holding crap new shirt."

<laugh>

I bet he's right and all.

Elmo must worship Bruce, he even stood by him when he couldn't cross to save his life a season and a half back. I'd bet that he must be Bruce's first name on the team sheet. If he goes then everyone wants to leave.

How much of that is due to Bruce and his tactics though?

Also I was wondering, has Bruce taken a wage cut with relegation along with most of the players?
