And this is what I dislike about the game. We get the nucleus of a good team together, then get relegated due to injuries, some poor decisions by the manager, and a couple of midfielders that can't be arsed, then we get ripped apart and have to start all over again. But that's how the cookie crumbles. Same for everyone else on our level
£7m is a very good deal for Brady, personally I don't think he's worth that. £5m tops for me so well done to the Allams
There's still time, or maybe the £30m price tag Bruce put on him has scared everyone away
I'm surprised people looking at Brady haven't looked at Robertson instead. I think he's the better player (Brady is great) but Robbo is quicker and put's a better cross into the box. If we are using the player sales proceeds to reinvest in the team, then his fee could get us Bentley, Gray and Clucas - I'd be well happy with that outcome.

Brady has scored something like 7 goals for us in two loan spells and two and a half years of permanent deals. That's really not that flash. He's inconsistent with his crossing and can be very complacent on the ball. 7m is an absolute steal.

Few on Twitter saying £1m for Clucas is a very good deal for Chesterfield which is worrying, but people are saying he's a good player and can run for days.
I can't see him getting too much game time anyway. Most likely backup to Robbo at lwb and then the occasional game on the wing if we play 4 at the back, but even then he could struggle when Snodgrass is back.
Basically this looks to me like a good squad signing with him able to play a variety of positions, if he can pitch in with a few goals and assists he'll be worth it

Chesterfield were in League 1 last season. They got to the play-offs and lost to Preston.
I think OLM said he got confused because the player started out on loan last season in a league 2 team.

I wonder if the club has been clever with the buy out clauses and insisted that they have to be activated by the end of July to give us time to get replacements? My guess is not.
