Hey SteveAnything else in the pipeline Vernon?
I understand that once the fee for Brady goes through then funds will be available. The larker from Brentford is still on the cards although early days.

9 goals and 3 assists for Sam Clucas last season, not bad for a winger! Sign him up!![]()
If there had been signings, we wouldn't get people coming on here and telling us there are no signings every 5 minutesMight as well mention it.
This is now the most replied to thread on this board ever.
Not bad for a transfer thread with no signings.

^^^^^^ Utter tosh and drivel this from uni boy FFSIf we had signings, we would've broken that a lot earlier as people would've been talking about the signings rather than the lack of them.

Brady has scored something like 7 goals for us in two loan spells and two and a half years of permanent deals. That's really not that flash. He's inconsistent with his crossing and can be very complacent on the ball. 7m is an absolute steal.
Yep. I think the mods should close it and start a new one. Plus do one on individual players who we look likely to sign like Clucas. Now we are actually going to be signing players.Anyone else think this thread is in danger of becoming moribund?
To sell him at the best part of 300% profit would make it a brilliant deal for us.
Brady is without a shadow of doubt our most expendable asset. He's a good player but he never beats his man and therefore crosses from far too deep and makes us highly predictable and on top of this if he stayed he'd delay the progress of Robertson, who is potentially much better. To sell him at the best part of 300% profit would make it a brilliant deal for us.
Yeah, you problem can't beat the boot being on the over foot. The only probably I have with this deal is that had the boot been on the over foot, we would have ended up paying £8M for someone of Brady's quality.

I think he's the better player (Brady is great) but Robbo is quicker and put's a better cross into the box.
Yes we do.
That'd be me.
**** off Mr. Hatem
And what has Huddlestone done? He's more central and should have a better view of the goal for shots. I think Elmo is more inconsistent with his crossing considering he gets so much much practice at doing it with the passes out to him.
I think it's highly questionable to say that Robertson puts better crosses in, because I really haven't seen that. Robertson is more about the hope that he will become better.
It's only a good deal ifit on hernthe money goes into buying other players, doesn't always
Isn't part of the Brady money wiping off what we owe them for Snodgrass? Or is it 7m plus that cash being wiped?
Like Snodgrass then, although I rate him a lot more than Brady. So as it's an (almost) swap deal, I think we've come out on top.The only probably I have with this deal is that had the boot been on the over foot, we would have ended up paying £8M for someone of Brady's quality.
