so if we keep N'Doy his wages will cost 2.6m Quid, but if we sell 3.5 mill, we pay 5mill for new Striker plus around 25k per week=1.3mill with a total cost of 2.8mill. I think we are better off keeping him. I'm not sold on this malarky that he wants to leave, as if he was he would be gone already. What he really wants is a guarantee of 50k per week. Whether that be in the championship or in the prem I don't think he is all that fussed. Guaranteed, if it's in the championship he will tear this league to pieces

Besiktas obviously want him, a couple of Premier League clubs are also interested, it's only a matter of time before he's gone.

On a serious [HASHTAG]#hcafc[/HASHTAG] note, I hear Steve Bruce has to get one more out before he starts buying. I think he needs 6-8 players personally.

As a minimum, assuming Jelavić, N'Doye and Hernandez leave.

3 Strikers
2 Midfielders
1 CB
1 RB
1 GK

That's assuming we don't lose any more players that are linked to other clubs or in their final year. That's a lot of players to bed into the team with the season start on the horizon and our first friendly tonight.

This makes releasing Rosenior and McShane even more mental.

You make a statement and then counteract it with the answer.
He simply went to Portugal because he was a Hull City player and was bloody well told to.
It has been broadcast on these, other boards and the media generally that Hernandez, Jelly and N'Doye wanted out. The consensus was that neither of them wished to play in the Championship.

Yeah these boards where fact reigns supreme. I haven't seen a single quote from the player or any other activity on his part suggesting he doesn't want to be a Hull City player. It's just based on the assumption that because we are now a Championship team, it automatically means that any half good player no longer wants to play for us, which is obviously wrong.

He didn't have to go to Portugal, as we've seen with Raheem Sterling this summer, you can skip training and make an arse of yourself if you really want a move.

Didn't stevebruce say that all three strikers had said they didn't want to play in the championship and would like to leave?

I swear I remember Burnsy saying it immediately after the final game, then speaking to Stevebruce about it in the post match interview, who confirmed that they hd already stated they want to bugger off if we got regulated.

I think he said they'd prefer/deserve to be in the top flight, which is obvious, but none of the players have made big noises about actually not wanting to be here. I think if they couldn't secure a move they'd be happy to stay until they did.

You are correct Hat.

James Chester has twice been quoted as saying he wants to play in the Prem. I'm surprised there hasn't been any interest in him yet. Fingers crossed they all have him down as not being tall enough and he has to stay put.
