Big Vern is or was a character from Viz. The guy is only having a bit of a laugh and typing to character and doing some mild and harmless trolling.
Who's moaning except you? You got a missus and kids and weekends are ****? Try discussing and less of the moaning; your weekends might get better.
Emyr Huws being linked to Cardiff and Burnley. We should be all over that one. And the third time I've mentioned him on this thread. But Leon Britton now linked with a move to the MLS. Surely we are putting calls in to his agent. If, and it's a big if, he was open to a move. An absolute no brainer.
Is it really trolling or just a bit of fun? Have I missed him giving abuse, as all I've seen is him taking it and cracking on.
There is a lad posting on the city Facebook forum claiming to have spoken to Elmo on a train to London tonight and is saying that Elmo gave the impression that he won't be playing tomorrow and may not be at the club forthe start of the season. I hope its utter rubbish but you never know.
You make a statement and then counteract it with the answer. He simply went to Portugal because he was a Hull City player and was bloody well told to. It has been broadcast on these, other boards and the media generally that Hernandez, Jelly and N'Doye wanted out. The consensus was that neither of them wished to play in the Championship.
The MLS has made an adjustment sort of to the DP rule by providing funds that has in effect created a 4th DP spot. That means that one should expect a whole bunch of players leaving to the MLS, around 20 minus few for DP U.S. players and add a few for DP players who are leaving. People like Hernandez from Man U is only one of a whole host of players expected to sign soon. Since DP players are exempt from salary cap rules it means that there is a good chance that we can not match the salary offered.
Seems to be a safe link on my locked down lappy, albeit dull and not relevant to the thread. It might have a lot of ads but my blockers killed them. Presumably trying to get ad traffic to his website. Don't waste your time.
I highly doubt this will happen, Manchester United only have 3 strikers on their books. Hernandez (Currently injured), Rooney and Wilson. Until they sign a couple of top class strikers, I doubt they would let him go. Same with Wilson, the only chance we have of getting him on loan is when the loan window re-opens after the transfer window.
so if we keep N'Doy his wages will cost 2.6m Quid, but if we sell 3.5 mill, we pay 5mill for new Striker plus around 25k per week=1.3mill with a total cost of 2.8mill. I think we are better off keeping him. I'm not sold on this malarky that he wants to leave, as if he was he would be gone already. What he really wants is a guarantee of 50k per week. Whether that be in the championship or in the prem I don't think he is all that fussed. Guaranteed, if it's in the championship he will tear this league to pieces
