Yes, really stupid. Look at the dearth of world class players they have now produced from a population of just 10.5 Million.

Australia produced a golden generation too and our domestic league was pants.

Wales currently has a golden generation, and their domestic league is pants.

Etc. ...

The set up is a ridiculous idea and just because they have a lot of good players coming through at the moment doesn't mean much.

Think he was mentioned as a possibility a while ago. From the sounds of things from a Toon supporter I know, he seems to be largely over his injuries, but yes I would hope it would be on a low base wage with an appearance-bonus built in.

This goal for England U20's in May was a good goal:

This next video shows his ability to hold the ball up and then he showed great skill to beat his man.

This goal was a good finish:

These were all at the Toulon Tournament in France this summer, I never did say he had done anything in particular to impress me, but he is thought highly of at Arsenal, and he is a different option to the other two players. As the videos show, he has some decent ability, and I would imagine him being 3rd or 4th choice for us if we did sign him, he would be good back up. Frazier Campbell was unknown before he came to us, he did nothing of note to impress anyone before he came to the club (Apart from the club scouts, obviously) and look how well he did for us. Worth a gamble on loan I would say..

The thing is, as good as all that sounds, his career in England so far has painted a very different picture and that's what a lot of clubs will be going on. He had three loan spells, two in League 1 and one in the Championship and didn't manage a single goal. His goalscoring record for the England youth is pretty good, but his goals have mostly come against The Faroe Islands (oi oi), Morocco, Estonia and teams of that ilk.

I also don't think Arsenal would loan us a player that they've used in their first team if he's going to be third or fourth choice, it wouldn't be beneficial for either party.

I suspect one of the strikers we bid for will be that German target man, Sandro Wagner; it looks like it'll be 3-5-2 again (groan) so we'll need big units up front as we ping in cross after cross. I've also heard we're going to push ahead with the Gray deal in the next week and there'll be at least two new faces before the Ferriby game (although they could very well just be trialists).

I don't really know where to start on your latest post. So I won't bother as it's complete bollocks.

It doesn't really matter how crap the Welsh domestic league is, none of their players play in it.
We should also point out to our Aussie friend that the top Welsh teams don't even play in the Welsh League. They play in the English Leagues: Swansea are in the Premier League, Cardiff in the Championship, Newport are in League 2, and Wrexham are in the Conference.

What about the footballing giants Airbus UK?

Maybe if City actually signed someone we would go off on a tangent. TWT
(Are TWT in the Welsh League? No doubt Tickler with inform us in about three days)
