Quinn - forget hindsight of last season, would you have oicked him ahead of huddlestone or livermore following 2013/14 season when both were immense? When we signed ramirez and ben harfa were you not excited and could not see quinn getting in, I thought he woukd be off then, then add Diame and meyler to the mix. Again another passionate player who works hard but only average ability, and fair play wants first team football.

They were overrated that season, both for instance went on holiday early not even bothering in the last load of league games. Livermore is now in limbo, Ben Arfa and Ramirez are both gone, Diame is either injured or gone. So I don't really see what your point is. Quinn wasn't injured all the time, and didn't have attitude or drug problems either. Your comparisons actually work against you.

So you think we Should spend £12 million on him ???

Who said he's for sale at 12m? I didn't.

However...
He's scored over 1 in 2 for the last 5-6 years, what more trees need to be ripped up?
Can you name a striker at this level that has done that?

He gets on the end of crosses too, suit us nicely.

Whenever I've seen Rhodes play I've been less than impressed with him. Then he bangs a goal in. Its a good nack to have. I dont think he'd cut it in the PL but obviously he's going to carry on banging them in in the Championship. The question is why havent other teams bought him? There must be something holding them all back?
I cant see any Championship team buying him at 12 million. Would we swop a few players for him? If so who?

Rhodes would be brilliant, but we're not going to bid for him, so it's a pointless discussion.

If Middlesbrough had been promoted he'd have gone there IMO, Blackburn sold Cairney to Fulham for 3m'ish which for me was strange so I did wonder if they needed to sell players, if so there's a chance they may sell Rhodes and Gestede, to us? I doubt it, would take either or both, Gestede scores a lot with his head, another ideal player.

I think there's a decent chance that both will be in the Premier League this coming season, in fact, one may be a Premier League player by next weekend.

Because they turned down £12 million last year do they will prob still want the same.
Why is he not in the prem already ???
People on here didn't rate Ince who scored 2 in 3 and we only got £4.8 million so 12 million is ridiculous

Just in the name of accuracy, Ince's goal scoring record is just under 1 in 3, not 2 in 3. It's still a very good record, it's just half as good as you claimed and his fee was £5m + add-on's.
