The rest were poor, but your getting upset about a championship midfielder. He wanted a premier league move and has ended up at reading, if he was as good as you say he'd be back in the pl.

Hope that puts an end to your wait, I hate the thought of you waiting for me

Meyler is definitely as good as Quinn, he offers a lot more both going forward and n defence, problem is he's just nowhere near as consistent.

Quinn keeps the ball nicely and that's it. Meyler at least gets forward, gets in the box, has a go at goal and wins plenty of challenges at the back, as well as winning a load of free kicks and roughing up the enemy. He just has his bad days now and then.

I waited so long I expected a much better response. He was the best midfielder in the Championship when we got promoted and he was also the best midfielder in the final part of our PL campaign last season. The fact that we now have no continuity in the team and it will be a significant additional cost to buy a replacement equal to Quinn means it will take investment out of more pressing areas - attackers for one.

How do you know he didn't have offers from a PL club? You don't. He may just appreciate that he got a 3 year deal with the option of a 4th year.

How do you know he did?
The season before last people wanted Thudd in the England squad so providing he comes back with a bit of intrest he's better than Quinn and we've got his replacement

Quinniesta was our best player in the promotion season.
Quinniesta was our best midfielder last season.
Letting him go to Reading was a ****ing massive mistake on the clubs' part.

Ok let's not let this differnence of opionion on a forum upset you
Your last statement will only be a fact if bruce doesn't sign anyone and thudd etc don't get their heads out their arses.
Personally I don't think he's a loss
