If it's true Huddlestone has been carrying an injury all last season, then we might have a very good good player back to his best, now he's had the op.

Turkish media are reporting that Trabzonspor have agreed personal terms with Jelavic and just need to agree a fee with City, which is expected to be £3-4m.

N'Doye is reportedly interesting Norwich and West Brom, the latter story claiming his £70k a week wages are an issue(which is bollocks).

Reading seem to have agreed terms with McShane and Quinn, though there seems to be some delay in the owner sanctioning the total budget for next season.

Ince to Derby still hasn't gone away either.

Let Jelavic, Hernandez and N'Doye go. I'm hoping we get at least £12m for them, put that money into getting Jordan Rhodes for £10m, Chris Wood £1m? and Chuba Akpom on loan and we are sorted for strikers!

We also need to keep Ince, either him, Snodgrass or Aluko to play in behind Rhodes. Get Diame and Snodgrass fit and raring to go and we will be a force to be reckoned with next season.

We weren't prepared to pay the fee for Rhodes when we were in the Premier League, we're definitely not going to pay it in the Championship.

Which I still think is a bit of an error, if the one major flaw in our side is goals scored (even in our promotion season) and the money we'll get from the TV/Premier League deal should we get promoted would be a major boost, so why aren't we trying to push the boat out to get back up? I'd have thought, given the lack of publicity in the Championship, we'd be pulling out all the stops to get the very best players to get us out of this division; the likes of Rhodes, Bryson, Bamford and Jota, who all did well last season should all be on our radar. Even if some of them are PL bound, we should still at least be trying to get them.

If we'd have pushed the boat out and signed Rhodes ahead of last season, we'd probably still be in the Premier league, I'm afraid that ship has now sailed.

You're probably right, I don't think he'd move anywhere but the Premier League now anyway, but we definitely should be looking to poach the very best from this league in order to maintain a title challenge.
