Now that Ince looks likely to be on the way out for a decent chunk of money, am I the only one thinking that if he is willing to come to us, we should spunk the £12m asking price on Rhodes.
He really does appear to be a consistent goalscorer at all levels he's played. If we lose N'Doye and Jelavic as is quite possible there may be no-one left with any record to actually purchase at the time and we are going to be left with no recognised forwards.
That's far too sensible. Let's sign someone instead who has never played in England and just 'hope' they come good.
**** that, we've got Aluko and Brady plus Snodgrass to come back, why sign a striker at all?
Just heard Chesters interview on RH he said " it's good for my ego to be linked with these prem clubs "

If the rumours are correct Rhodes will join Middlesboro before us.
As for N'Doye, Hernandez and even Jelavic(if anyone in the PL wants him) may only leave on loan for the season. It will be interesting to see who if anyone takes them and for how much.
A point well made - we'll be sticking them in left right and centre.
Personally - I think Brady will go. Norwich are interested and he deserves to stay in the PL.
Brady was behind me this morning all suited up in his land rover and turned off at Hessle Foreshore.
Presumably he had an early morning appointment with the media whilst getting the customary Humber Bridge shot in the background.
Either that or he was going dogging.
That's surprising given he's with the Ireland squad.
Jarvis to us from the Hammers?
Please let that happen. With the 'up and at 'em' tactics that many teams in the second tier will employ Huddlestone will be even less effective than last season.Huddlestone to the Cherries according to Talkshite
Isn't Jarvis a wing back type player if I remember right.Would take Jarvis. The Cherries are welcome to big fat Tom. Then he can get relegated for the second time.
