A lot of Cardiff fan's stating that they won't be sorry to see the back of him claiming he's lazy and tends to go missing in game's .
That can mean one of two things..
a) They are right with that statement or
b) They are pissed off that he may want out & are being vindictive.
The Sunderland fans said much the same about Elmo if I recall. He's done quite well for us. Fickle fans.

The local paper down there running a pole on regards him going at the moment 66% wont not be unhappy if he left, but like you said it could be them being pissed off with him.

I thought their comments were quite interesting, many still think he's their most talented player, but was wasted last season due to not fitting with the system they were playing.

£5m is a strong budget in the championship, with the players we already have (allowing that some will leave, but as of yet we don't know who) it should be more than enough to fill the gaps with enough quality.

Fulham, Cardiff, Forest, Wigan, Norwich & Boro all spent more than that last summer.

Considering we're probably going to need 8/9 new players, £5 million isn't a great deal.

It really isn't, it's one really good striker, or two half decent one's.

If we're losing all our strikers, along with Livermore, Ince and Quinn, we'll either need to spend more than £5m or do a lot of really good loan deals.

Believe me, I'd love to be wrong.

Bruce himself said Diame will be gone as soon as he's fit. I'd rather Huddlestone went, if we're keeping someone on those wages I'd rather have Jela. Huddlestone is so laborious and he will be given even less time to pick a pass in the Championship.

Bruce's track record when he's given money to spend has varied from poor to disastrous.

Diame may not be fit during the current transfer window and therefore there is a chance he will be available to play for us between Sept and Jan. Half a season with someone of his quality would be a bonus for us even though he will probably move on in January.

In a 3-5-2 there's really no place for Whittingham, as him and Snodgrass as 2 of the midfield 3 would leave us exposed.

Good player mind, like a left-footed Koren.

Whittingham was an excellent player a few years ago. Used to get loads of assists.
