I don't understand this notion of selling before buying. If you do that then the best players will be gone. It's like selling your house, living on the street for a few weeks while you find a new house. Buy the new house, then you can comfortably sell your old house before the settlement of the new place, and then you move in. Same with jobs, line up a new job, then quit. Same with players, line up the new player, then sell the old player. I'd be going to Norwich offering them Jela at a cut-price deal, since we only need a couple more million and his wages off the books to afford Gray.

I am not saying I agree with it, but if I understand the earlier posts on the forum, and unless Brucie is bluffing, he indicated that we needed to shift one before we could get another in. Did I dream that? Though oddly I got the impression that Maloney is still on. Perhaps I have misunderstood! To be fair, my mind was otherwise occupied by a pair of long Russian legs on the train home ... :emoticon-0141-whew:

If Maloney is indeed coming this weekend, it beggars the question of why we can't put the money used on his bid towards Gray, and keep Maloney in reserve in case one of our players leaves. I would think someone of Gray's quality is more important to have than Maloney.

The answer to your last question: probably tens of thousands -- I haven't counted them -- but not on this fairly young website. This forum isn't mainly about football. Looking at the EXTREMELY long list of diatribes against a variety of posters (go on, you've shown you know how to do it) by you and your little gang of window-licking "followers", this forum is primarily a vehicle for fearless keyboard warriors, like you and your potty-mouthed buddies, to abuse anyone who can see through your red-mist abuses.
