Without a doubt. If we can get rid of Jelavic N'Doye and Hernandez that would open up alot of cash to use elsewhere.

Looking at whats left in the championship most of the good ones have gone upto the PL now.

Ipswich striker Daryl Murphy who bagged 27 goals last season is not on that much by all accounts.

Looking @ league one strikers,,, Ian Henderson(Rochdale) got 22 goals and Andy Williams(Swindon) got 21 goals last season and they would hardly break the bank/budget either.

AFC Bournmouth bought Calum Wilson for £3m from Coventry last season and he scored 20 goals to help them win the league.

I can't take my eyes off him.<party>

He still looks like he's won a competition, but he keeps on scoring. He doesn't have any discernable talent other than being in the right place at the right time.

I'm certain that he won't replicate this season.

Oh do shut up clown. Most of them were off the bench as MU were down to the bones for strikers.

LVG wont be relying on Wilson. The lad needs to play. What dont you understand about that. ?

Also, his name is being mentioned on here only as a as a possible. It may or may not happen. Either way you dont know. But hey ho keep digging.

I don't expect him to be playing regularly for Man United, but I do expect him to be playing for someone in the Premier League.

We all know what you get when you go cheap:headbang:

Most of the time yes. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Picked up many a cheap CD from E&M Mart on Hessle Road over the years. :emoticon-0103-cool:

The bloke that runs it says that if ""he aint heard of the band/artist"" he marks the price on the cheap.

As for Hernandez,,, was he really that crap or just that he could not be bothered anymore ?
He started off so well.

That is a discernible talent that is fairly useful for a striker.

I know, he's the opposite of someone like Lloyd Dyer.

Leicester fans always used to say "If he could cross he'd be a Premier League player". In that he had it all but one or two very important traits.

Harry Kane can finish and has a knack of being in the right place at the right time but he's not quick, doesn't work hard, doesn't play a "team game", doesn't hold the ball up particularly well, won't run the channels and he's an international and European player.

Funny ol' game.

WTF.....You can't be bothered after a dozen or so games...lazy bastard if true
I will go with **** player.

You literally just quoted and highlighted me saying "He still doesn't look good enough".

If he is not good enough then every team under Spurs have no chance of glory.
Sherringham wasn't quick....was still a top player
Beckham could not beat a man....brilliant free-kick and crosser of a ball.
Bobby Charlton had a **** hairstyle.....but boy what a player and shot.
George Best got drunk....was quick, could beat people, had a great hairstyle and shot and couldn't half pull the birds.

So every player has his faults. But Kane is a very good young player. I think you have got a bit of envy cause he did f**k all with Lester.

I like Kane attitude (and he is able). Wish our Tom Ince had the same desire.

A lot of people have mentioned Jela as one of those players who couldn't be arsed to play in the championship for us, but is there anything to back this view up? He's always struck me as someone who would give 100% no matter what, and given his scoring record in the PL would certainly back him to bang them in in the champo
Only a ****ty snide tweet from Fatty Burns, summat along the lines of "doesnt want to soil his boots in the Championship"
Same as Buckinghams "novel" comment about us being favourites for the Championship.

Jelavic comes across as a good honest pro, he probably does want to leave, but i doubt he would disrespect the club or Steve Bruce like that.

But thats the standard of **** stirring crap we have from our local hacks

Havent you just described Gary Lineker?

I'm not envious because he didn't do "it" for Leicester. He was never our player in the first place.

I'm pissed off that he didn't show any desire to do "it".

The above were missing one trait that would have made them world beaters (Charlton and Best aside, because they clearly were world beaters). Kane is missing too many IMO. He's got a heck of a lot of improving to do.

How old is he?

Kane is a poor man's Lineker, yes.

What of it?

Ah right, so Lineker had all the bad traits you listed for Kane but just not quite as bad. Yes? Well if he remains just a bit worse than Lineker for his career he'll do alright.

Actually both played early days at Lester, couldnt wait to get out, topped the scoring charts, made a massive impact for England.... It's all falling into place. In 10 years Kane will be shagging anything that moves behind his missus' back, making deals with the press so they don't print it and he can retain his golden boy image before going on to sell peanuts and presenting BT Sports highlights package.

Fackin legend.
