I would happily take anything to as I don't think he will fancy playing in the Championship which makes such a difference, as if I cared he might be a half decent option in the Championship but if he doesn't care we are best cutting our losses and replacing him with a loanee who is going to actually try.
I don't think he's got the bottle. It's not just the goals he just makes no impact on a game. He hardly touches the ball and never does anything with it when he does. Even with our impressive record when it comes to finding **** strikers, I've never seen one so easily marked as Hernandez is.
Tbf, he was anything but "easy to mark" in the Everton game. I think he has it in him, but I wouldn't stick my neck out and say he'll come good for us next season.
Moscow wouldn't let N'Doye leave for a penny less than £10m in the summer, we spent £2.8m I think it was in him when he had 6 months left in his contract when he'd made it clear he wanted to leave. He's now proven he can cut it and score goals in the premier league. What price were we looking at for proven players like him? What the **** are these stupid valuations, £3m, £4m? PL strikers cost silly money, we should be looking at at least £8m. Why would we give him away just because he wants out? **** that. He can leave but his new employer can pay the going rate. Nobody wanted to sell a proven PL striker to us for peanuts did they.
And Becchio? That suggestion can **** right off. He's truly ****ing ****e, I've no idea how he scored all those goals in that 6 month goal rush he had at Leeds, but he's a ****ing donkey. Slow, lanky, weak as piss, has the technique of an 80 year old woman with arthritis in both knees and he's a diving twat. No thanks.
Abel is probably the best striker we've ever had. I really hope we can persuade him to stay, he'll fire us to promotion single handedly.
No reason to sell Hernandez, he is reported to be a fairly low wage earner (so im told) 'If' he will stay give him a go, his pace would terrorize championship defenders........... he finishing could also terrorize fans in seats behind the goals...........
Also, he's got the element of surprise up his sleeve, having taken care to conceal his pace over the past 10 months.
Aston Villa contemplate Hull City striker Dame N’Doye as Benteke replacement According to a report in the Mirror, Aston Villa are considering Hull City’s Dame N’Doye as a replacement for striker Christian Benteke, who has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool. The Hull City striker is likely to leave the KC Stadium regardless this summer following the Tigers’ failure to avoid relegation to the Championship. Standing at just over 6ft, the Senegalese international is strong in the air and impressively agile, proving his Premier League credentials with five goals in 15 games after joining Hull only last winter. Villa boss Tim Sherwood knows he will find it tough to retain Benteke, and arguably his biggest job this summer will be to find a player capable of providing the goals in his absence. “Aston Villa are considering a move for Hull striker Dame N’Doye as a replacement for Christian Benteke. Tim Sherwood will have limited funds to spend on his Villa squad in the close season and views as N’Doye a shrewd buy if Benteke departs,” the report states. Despite Villa’s good late-season form and ensuing FA Cup final appearance, Benteke stood out as the club’s leading player with a total of 13 goals in 26 Premier League starts. The former Genk man is ready to take the next step in his career, and the Mirror goes on to say that Liverpool are desperate to sign him, with the Reds in dire need of extra firepower upfront. However, if Villa are to make N’Doye their number one summer target they will have to make their move quickly, as the report also cites North East duo Sunderland and Newcastle as fellow suitors.
Wba Palace and now Newcastle. Maybe Villa will join the race especially if they sell Benteke. The more the merrier and better for our coffers.
Well if their prepared to pay 10mill, we should hold out for 12-15mill. Just like the others do to us. ****em
