Quite Agree but good on Wolves. They know Sunderland are desperate and will ring every last penny out of them. Any truth that Sunderland recent phone bill is over £1m ? <whistle> As a side issue,Fraizer Campbell has also tweeted that the rumours of him leaving are crap. He will see out his contract then decide.


Just shows what good value we got in Nick Proschwitz. I think he is better than Fletcher skill wise.

He missed an open goal from two feet out and hasn't managed a header yet, but other than I'm sure he's in a different class to Fletcher. <doh>

I hope he comes good, but he's done nothing yet, he hasn't even been able to score past amateurs, never mind a proper bloody team.

I would doubt that. But they only have Campbell and Wickham as strikers at the moment. The season starts in 2 days and a trip to Arsenal looms large. Desperation maybe taking over with the mackems.

In other news that has a bearing on Hull City.... Middlesboro are close to signing free agent Ricardo Fuller ex.Stoke

Charlton and Blackpool chasing Sheffield Utd midfielder Stephen Quinn.

Lesta looking to take Stoke defender Danny Higginbottom on loan for the season.

Give the guy a fooking chance,, ffs. :bandit: So what if he has missed simple chances. Many better than him have done so. You have to be there to miss them for starters. As for his skill levels may i suggest you watch him more closely. <ok>

Fletcher missed many sitters last season for Wolves and one reason Wolves got relegated. <doh>

Of course I'll give him a chance, just don't go claiming he's better than £12m Premier League striker until he's at least scored a ****ing goal. Jeez.

I was referring to his skill levels if you read it properly. The money Burnley got for Fletcher was more than i would ever pay for him. The money Wolves are now rejecting for Flecther beggars belief.

We should get in on this deal, we'll be able to offer a lot more than Blackpool will do and I'm sure we can convince him we're a better club to join than Charlton (no disrespect to them, they'll probably come up with momentum but they are a promoted team and there's always a chance they'll struggle, whereas I'd say we're nailed on to be at least involved in a playoff chase. I've always quite liked the look of Quinn but haven't seen him in the last year or so, if Chazz is reading he might be able to give his thoughts on Quinn?

Cheers ISTPLT. Smashing little player, would be great for us. Can play either flank and puts in a great cross with either foot. Not the biggest physically but gets stuck in too. Saw him 3 or 4 times last season and it was great to watch crosses getting whipped into the box with Cresswell and Ched attacking them.

He is PL quality and Sunderland are more than desperate. Looks like MON has Louis Saha in the bag now. Wolves as ive said a few times are not in debt and can demand what they like. Jez Moxey said they would want £15m and good for them they are sticking by it. Great deal / business. Burnley wont be unhappy about it either as there cut will be over £2m.


As for Quinn, Blackpool could be lining up a replacement for Matt Phillips.
