Leigh Griffiths - Wolves. great on Fifa, apart from that, I don't know much about him (Striker)
Hal Robson Kanu - Reading. good player about 500,000 and in our price range (hopefully)

Barmby has no interest in keeping Brady, you'll be hard pushed to find many on here who care either way.
does anybody have an idea/clue/feeling/concrete date as to when the well publicised talks between NB, AP and the Allam's are due to take place?
I believe NB has stated that he wants to get his business done early so is some time this week a certainty?

NICK Barmby admits Hull City face a vital week in shaping the club's future as he puts his squad strengthening plans before owner Assem Allam.
After a 2-1 defeat at West Ham United on Saturday saw the Tigers finish the Championship season in eighth, Barmby's focus has immediately turned to bolstering his ranks ahead of another promotion challenge in 2012-13.

Together with head of football operations Adam Pearson, Barmby expects to meet with chairman Allam and vice-chairman Ehab Allam on Thursday to finalise the club's strategy for the summer transfer market.
As well as setting a budget in place for an annual wage bill, the club's hierarchy will also detail the levels of financial support available to Barmby.
The City boss has continually stressed the need to strengthen and retain his star players and he hopes his ambitions can be matched this week.
"It's been well documented but it is a massive week for us," Barmby told the Mail.
"We'll sit down with the owners and discuss our budget but momentum is everything. You can't stand still at any time if you want to do well.
"We know we've got the basis of an exciting team but we've got to keep it going now. We all want the same goal, for Hull City to be successful.
"I genuinely believe that we can be one of the teams that can be right up there next season."
A quirk of fate ahead of the meeting yesterday saw the annual Sunday Times Rich List estimate Allam's wealth to have soared to £417m, rising £130m over the last year.
However, having already ploughed £51m into the Tigers since taking control from Russell Bartlett in December 2010, there is reluctance from the Allam family to prop up City's books through further personal investment next season.
As a result, Pearson has previously stated that the majority of summer trading will be done in the free transfer market.
Barmby wants to see money made available to sign players for key positions, though, including a deal for on-loan goalkeeper Vito Mannone from Arsenal.
The Mail understands Barmby's very public calls for a show of support have caused friction in the City boardroom ahead of the meeting this week but he again stressed the need to be bold this summer.
"It's very important that we keep hold of our best players too," he added.
"Everyone knows who those players are and why it's so important. It's imperative we do that because we're not a selling club and these lads want to be here.
"We owe it to them to really go for it next season."
Although Carlton Cole's brace condemned City to a final-day defeat at Upton Park, a final standing of eighth has universally been accepted as a heartening campaign.
A seven-point gap eventually separated the Tigers from the Championship play-offs, but Barmby says the club will begin next season with renewed optimism.
"I've told them that they've truly got to believe in themselves," he said. "They should go home in the summer to reflect on the season and come back with that real competitive edge in them.
"They've got it in them and we can have a really good go at this league next season."

OK, Well first of all there are no major football tournaments for 2013. As you say the FL playoff weekend is now fixed for the bank holiday weekend at the end of May. The 2013 Champions League Final returns to Wembley again the week before (to celebrate the FA's 150 year anniversary) and the FA Cup Final is planned the weekend prior to that. So the FL games will end a week later than this season i would suggest on the first B/H weekend in May 2013.
March 2012 was the same for all championship teams who had 7 games planned in the original fixture list due to the season having to end sooner due to 2012 euros. However, It got bad for Hull City as we had 2 games to re-arrange through no fault of our own. The Pompey game was a game too far and should have been planned for April, imo.
A better spread through the 2012/13 seasion i expect to be made as even 7 is alot of games at that time of year.
I would expect an extra round of league games between xmas and new year and also 2 sets of fixtures over the August bank holiday when everyone is fresh and ready to go.
All 4 leagues KO on the weekend of 18th August and the following weekend i would say a saturday / BH monday set of fixtures. We shall all find out on Monday 18th June when the new fixtures come out.
I dont see why more local mid-week games cannot be played in the first part of the season as an example to reduce the pressure and backlog.
Well maybe with Barmby in charge Messrs Turner and Campbell might give us a good report in relation to Wickham IF there is any chance at all at getting him in.
MON is after 2/3 PL proven strikers so you never know.
Joel Ward is a good call and a good player. Pompey expect to loose about 18 players this summer Appleton said. He should be well within our budget.
Jason Pearce would also be a good addition to the squad but TWS look to have got him in if paper reports are to be beleaved.
Steve Davies might be worth a look, he's just turned down a second new contract offer, he's 24, 6'1", goal rate about 1 in 4 and he can play on the left side of a three man attack.
Hull are ready to accept a £1.5million bid for centre half James Chester from Leicester City, making Barmby’s position even more difficult.

The mirror has been surprisingly accurate when it comes to City - if that's true though I may actually be reduced to tears
With Barmby gone and the Allams looking to minimise losses, surely that means they'd accept £1.5m if someone came in though?
